Overview
Christmas Prank, by Talyqo Labs, is a Christmas soundboard. It has no account system and no custom backend server. All sounds are bundled in the app and play offline.
Information stored on your device
The app saves a few preferences locally on your device: favorite sounds, playback volume, your display choices, the number of sounds played, whether a review was requested, and whether Premium was last reported as active. This data is not sent to us. It is removed when you clear the app data or uninstall the app, and may be included in your Android device backup if you have enabled backups.
Advertising (Google Mobile Ads)
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK collects device and other identifiers (such as the advertising ID), approximate location derived from your IP address, app interactions (such as ads viewed and tapped), crash logs and other diagnostic data, and device and app information. This data is shared with Google, which uses it to show, measure and improve ads, for analytics and to prevent fraud. Learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Advertising identifiers
Where applicable, the Android advertising ID may be used for personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your consent choices. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's Android settings.
Consent management
Where required by law (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), Google's User Messaging Platform asks for your consent before ads use your data. You can review or change your choices at any time in Settings → Privacy choices, when that option is shown.
Rewarded ads
You can choose to watch a rewarded ad to unlock one premium sound until you close the app. This temporary unlock is kept in memory only and is not stored. A rewarded ad can also open one advent door, and the app saves on your device which doors are open.
Purchases (Google Play Billing and RevenueCat)
Premium is a one-time purchase made through Google Play Billing. Google handles payment; we never receive your payment card details. RevenueCat, our purchase-management provider, receives purchase information (such as the product ID, purchase token and transaction dates), a random anonymous app user ID it generates, and basic device and app information (such as app version, operating system version, store country and IP address) to verify and restore your Premium access. Your purchase history is used only for this. It is not shared with others or used for advertising. Learn more at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Saving and sharing sounds
If you choose to use a sound as a ringtone, notification sound or alarm, the app saves a copy in that folder on your device. To make it the default, Android asks you to allow "Modify system settings"; the app uses this only to set the sound you choose, and you can refuse. If you choose to share a sound, Android opens its share sheet and the sound goes to the app you pick. We do not receive these sounds or your choices.
Daily reminder
If you say yes, the app shows one local notification a day while new doors arrive. It is scheduled on your device and sends nothing to us. You can turn it off in Settings or in Android settings.
What the app does not collect
Christmas Prank does not ask for or read your precise location, microphone, camera, contacts or your own files. The approximate location used for ads comes only from your IP address. It has no account system, no custom backend and no analytics SDK.
Data security, retention and deletion
The app has no account system and we do not operate a server that stores your personal data. The preferences described above remain in Android's private app storage until you clear the app data or uninstall the app. Purchase and advertising information is handled by Google and RevenueCat using their services and is retained or deleted according to their respective policies. Children
Christmas Prank is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear in the app and at the online privacy-policy address listed on Google Play.
