The problem is they use the phone case as a type of speaker box. They allow the back of the speaker to "breath" into the case so that it can produce bass. That makes the speaker sound better and easier to understand people talking.

Some of the galaxy phones only allow you to turn off noise reduction on a per call basis. So you may have to do that every time you make a call. Depends on the phone. Are any of you running into this problem?

I tried some of your suggetions but not a single one works.. So i looked at my samsung S4 which has the echo problm... and i noticed that there is some dust in mic hole... i cleared it with a needle and its really works now with no echo for caller or for me ...

This has to do with your cell phone provider, the location of the cell tower, where you are located in relation to the cell towers, and objects in the way that block or reflect the signal. Try going to a different room in your house or to a different spot outside. If the people your talking to still hear a echo, then you gotta switch carriers if you absolutely love your cell phone.

Echo should not happen. Sometimes it is a physical problem with the phone. Sometimes it is a bug in the programming of the phone. If you can't resolve it and you wan't out of your contract, write a letter to the FCC. That quickly got me out of mine with T-mobile and 3 phones (all samsung S3) that had echo problems.

Solved echo problem. The battery on my galaxy s5 was slightly swollen, pushing the cover out. If you look at the back cover there is a gasket or seal whichever. The battery pushing out keeps it from sealing. So just get a new battery.

Started having the same problem on my S21 around a weeks ago. When talking on WhatsApp sometimes recipients hear a strong echo, which come and goes. Usually the call starts fine, but if I'm not talking for 15-20 seconds, the echo problems starts. It can go away if I start talking again, but most of the times I have to switch to loudspeaker and back to get rid of the problem.

I Have an SM-R810 Samsung Galaxy Watch and after switching my watch sound profile to vibrate or mute and searching for this option in my samsung health and bixby on my both devices (watch and phone) I was failed to switch off this function during my exercise (for example. Treadmill - Cycling and ....)

I bought Samsung S20 plus on Nov 2020. So far the past 8 months, I didnt face any issues.

But now, I'm seeing an issue during calls ie when I'm talking in call, the other end person is not able to hear my voice but I'm able to hear his voice.

I tried factory reset, all network reset, nothing seems to be working. Out of 5 calls, Im seeing this issue in almost 4 calls. In my settings I have LTE/3G/2G (auto-connect) option enabled.

Enabling and disabling "flight mode", is working but for that I have to disable the wifi and wifi calling option.

For each and every call, I have to do these things for my call to work. Its really getting frustrated.

Pls let me know if you faced this issue and incase you aware of any solution for this issue?

Hi guys,

I have a really weird problem.

Since last week, shortly after I updated my phone, I have had complaints from people I call to, that they hear themselves talking to me, an echo of them voice.

I have the phone from February and before that I did not have such a problem until last week.

I shook myself in various forums, but I do not find a similar problem and its solution. Please help, because it is terribly annoying. As a primary solution, I have reduced my microphone to a minimum and so the echo is very weak and almost invisible, but from the other side do not hear me very well.

Got this new phone and its lovely but without this function it drastically decreases my experience with the phone. FWIW I'm talking about this from S9. It creates the icon of the guy at the bottom right and I can use it to select text to read out loud to me.

restarting the phone can fix it temporarily. others have had luck with clearing the cache of the phone app. Just did a call, both of us using s21's, both on speakerphone, zero echo for either of us. we are using the stock samsung phone app. haven tried with google phone app.

I have a problem that I cannot find anything online on how to help. So here is my issue. My wife uses an iPhone XS. I use a Samsung galaxy Note 10+. Recently I started having an issue where her text messages were not coming to me. (Please read all the way through). She can call me but no texts. I thought it was an issue on my end and I started troubleshooting my phone. Also...a real estate agent friend of mine who also uses an iPhone could text me...but anytime they try to call it says in an automated message that I'm not accepting calls at this time. HOWEVER, after a LOT of trial and error and me looking everywhere online and calling my service provider...doing a factory reset...and even getting a new sim card...I couldn't solve the issue. My wife and I are on AT&T...but I'm on FirstNet (for emergency responders). I was about to buy a new phone until I noticed my daughter is also not getting my wife's text messages.

There's another button in the ANC settings section that brings a unique feature to the Galaxy Buds Pro called Voice Detect. As its name implies, when the Buds Pro detects your voice as you start talking, it will pause ANC so you can hear the person you're talking to. That way, you don't have to take your earbuds out. 0852c4b9a8
