Privacy Policy for Talabati
Privacy Policy for Talabati
Effective Date: Aprel 01, 2025
This Privacy Policy describes how Talabati ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with our mobile application, Talabati (the "App"), and any related services (collectively, the "Services").
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not access or use our Services.
**1. Introduction**
Talabati is an order and sales management application designed to help users track and manage their business orders. This policy outlines our practices regarding user data, including compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
**2. Information We Collect**
We collect several types of information from and about users of our App:
* **Information You Provide Directly:**
* **Order Information:** When you create or manage orders within the App, you provide information such as customer names, phone numbers (optional), order details (items, quantities, prices), payment status (paid amount, remaining balance), and order status (new, ready, delivered).
* **Account Information (Potential):** If account creation is implemented for subscription management or cloud sync features, we might collect your email address, name, or other identifiers you provide.
* **Communications:** If you contact us directly (e.g., for support via email), we will collect the information contained in your communications.
* **Information Collected Automatically:**
* **Usage Data:** We collect information about how you interact with the App, such as features used, screens viewed, taps, duration of sessions, and frequency of use. This helps us understand user behavior and improve the App.
* **Device Information:** We collect information about the mobile device you use to access the App, including hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (like IDFA for iOS or Advertising ID for Android), IP address, mobile network information, and device language settings.
* **Crash and Performance Data:** We may collect diagnostic data related to app crashes or performance issues to help us identify and fix bugs.
* **Information from Third Parties:**
* **Advertising Partners:** We partner with third-party advertising networks (like Google AdMob or similar services) to display advertisements within the App. These partners may collect information automatically as described above (Usage Data, Device Information, Advertising IDs) to serve personalized or non-personalized ads and measure their effectiveness.
* **Payment Processors (for Subscription):** When you subscribe to the premium version of Talabati (after the initial 30 free orders), payments are processed through the respective app store's billing system (e.g., Google Play Billing, Apple App Store In-App Purchases). We do not directly collect or store your full credit card number or detailed payment information. We receive confirmation of payment status from the payment processor.
**3. How We Use Your Information**
We use the information we collect for various purposes, including:
* **Providing and Managing the Services:** To operate the App, allow you to create, view, and manage orders, track order statuses, and utilize core app functionalities.
* **Personalization (Limited):** We may use usage data to understand feature popularity and potentially tailor the user experience, but core order data is primarily for your management purposes.
* **Advertising:** To display advertisements within the App. This may include personalized advertising based on your activity and device identifiers (where permitted and consent is obtained if required) or non-personalized (contextual) ads. This is a primary way we support the free tier of the App.
* **Subscription Management:** To track your usage (number of orders created) relative to the free trial limit (30 orders) and to manage access to premium features upon subscription ($10 USD, subject to change and regional pricing differences).
* **Analytics and Improvement:** To analyze usage patterns, monitor the performance of the App, diagnose technical issues, and improve the features, usability, and overall quality of our Services.
* **Communication:** To respond to your inquiries, provide customer support, and send important service-related notices (e.g., updates to terms or policies, subscription status).
* **Security and Fraud Prevention:** To protect the security and integrity of our Services, prevent fraudulent activity, and enforce our terms.
* **Legal Compliance:** To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or governmental requests.
**4. Sharing Your Information**
We do not sell your personal information in the traditional sense. However, we may share your information with third parties under the following circumstances:
* **Advertising Partners:** We share device identifiers (like Advertising ID/IDFA), IP address, usage data, and potentially general location information (derived from IP) with our third-party advertising partners to enable them to display ads, measure ad performance, and potentially personalize ads based on your interests (subject to your consent and opt-out choices where applicable).
* **Analytics Providers:** We may share aggregated or anonymized usage data and device information with analytics providers (e.g., Google Firebase Analytics) to help us understand how our Services are used.
* **Payment Processors:** As mentioned, payment information for subscriptions is processed directly by third-party payment processors (Apple App Store, Google Play Store). We only receive transaction confirmation details.
* **Legal Requirements:** We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect and defend our rights or property, prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Services, protect the personal safety of users or the public, or protect against legal liability.
* **Business Transfers:** If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be shared, sold, or transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice within the App of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information.
**5. Data Retention**
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, including providing the Services, managing your subscription (if applicable), complying with our legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements. Order data you enter is stored locally on your device unless cloud synchronization features are implemented and used, in which case retention policies for synced data will apply. Automatically collected data (like usage logs or advertising identifiers) is typically retained for a shorter period necessary for analytics, ad reporting, or security purposes. You can often delete your locally stored order data by uninstalling the App or using in-app deletion features if available.
**6. Data Security**
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction. However, please be aware that no security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information. Data stored locally on your device is subject to the security of your device itself.
**7. Your Privacy Rights (General)**
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. These may include the right to:
* Access the personal information we hold about you.
* Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
* Request deletion of your personal information (subject to certain exceptions).

Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions like the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under the relevant age, please contact us.
**10. Advertising Choices**
As mentioned, we use third-party advertising partners. You can often opt out of personalized advertising from participating ad networks through your device settings:
* **iOS:** Go to Settings > Privacy > Tracking > Turn off "Allow Apps to Request to Track." Also, go to Settings > Privacy > Apple Advertising > Turn off "Personalized Ads."
* **Android:** Go to Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization. (Path may vary slightly by device/OS version).
You can also visit opt-out pages like the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) at http://optout.networkadvertising.org/ or the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) at http://optout.aboutads.info/. Opting out does not mean you will stop seeing ads, but they may be less relevant to your interests.
**11. Subscription Information**
Talabati offers a free trial allowing the creation of up to 30 orders. Continued use beyond this limit requires a subscription, typically priced at $10 USD (or regional equivalent, subject to change). Payments are handled securely through the platform's app store (Google Play Store or Apple App Store) and are subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We do not store your full payment details.
