Biography
Takumi Takahashi received the B.E., M.E., and Ph.D. degrees in communication engineering from The University of Osaka, Japan, in 2016, 2017, and 2019, respectively. From 2018 to 2019, he was a Visiting Researcher at the Centre for Wireless Communications, University of Oulu, Finland. In 2019, he joined the Graduate School of Engineering at The University of Osaka as an Assistant Professor and is currently serving as an Associate Professor.
Research Interests
His research focuses on wireless physical-layer signal processing, with particular emphasis on MIMO systems, modulation and demodulation, and channel coding and decoding. The theoretical foundations of his work are rooted in statistical signal processing and coding theory, especially Bayesian inference, compressed sensing, and model-based learning.
