I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Economics and Business at KU Leuven and a member of the Research Group Leuven Economics of Education Research (LEER). I currently work for the research project “DemoTrans: The Interchange between Democratic Institutions and the Globalisation of the Economy”

I completed my PhD in International Political Economy at Birkbeck College, University of London. I have studied economics at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, (MPhil), the New School for Social Research (MA) and the Athens University of Economics and Business (BSc).  

My research interests include International Economics, Political Economy, Economic & Financial Geography, Industrial Relations in Global Value Chains, Input-Output Analysis and Network-Graph Theory.  

Prior to my current role at KU Leuven, I worked as a Research Associate in Finance and Geography at the School of Geography and the Environment, University of Oxford, for the interdisciplinary research project “Cities in Global Financial Networks: Finance and Development in the 21st Century”.
