コンピュータとネットワークの知識を活かし、セキュリティアーキテクトとして次世代セキュリティの研究開発をしてきました。今までに、クラウドセキュリティ、SDNセキュリティ、IoTセキュリティを研究開発した経験があります。具体的には、システムのセキュリティ設計、セキュリティ分析、新しいセキュリティ機構の開発を行なってきました。前職のNECでは、IoTセキュリティの研究開発チームを率いて、チーム内で閉じて技術を開発するのではなく、海外や国内の大学とのオープンコラボレーションによる最先端の技術の導入や、社外のパートナや社内の様々な事業部門と連携することによる実用的な技術開発を行っていた。また、CTF(セキュリティコンテスト)の活動もしており、SECCON 2013 Finalに出場したことがあります。
現在は、横浜国立大学で、サイバーセキュリティの研究をしています。最近の成果は、業績リストをご参照ください。

Leveraging my knowledge of computers and networks, I have been engaged in research and development of next-generation security technologies as a security architect. My past experience includes R&D in cloud security, SDN security, and IoT security. More specifically, I have worked on security design for systems, security analysis, and the development of new security mechanisms.
At NEC, my previous employer, I led an IoT security R&D team. Rather than developing technologies solely within the team, we pursued practical technology development by introducing state-of-the-art techniques through open collaboration with universities in Japan and abroad, and by working closely with external partners as well as various internal business divisions.
I am currently conducting research in cybersecurity at Yokohama National University. For my recent achievements, please refer to my list of publications. I also operate a website, “Am I infected?”, which can diagnose vulnerabilities and malware infections in IoT devices. Please feel free to use it.
Research areas: Cybersecurity (attack observation/honeypots, investigation of unauthorized functions such as backdoors), usable security, and system security (including networks and IoT systems).
