Ongoing Events

Therapy Dog Visits - Our favorite therapy dogs like Crusader, Baloo, and Bentley will be visiting throughout the summer for everyone to read to, pet, and draw pictures for. The schedules will be updated weekly!

Monday Morning Storytimes, every Monday morning at 10:30am- We are so happy to be able to have in-person storytimes back! Every Monday morning we will meet outside the library to read a story, sing, dance and have a great time! If the weather is bad, we will meet virtually instead! This storytime is geared for ages 3 and up, but all ages are welcome!

Tuesday Morning Toddler Time, every Tuesday at 10:30am! - We will be getting together to read stories, dance, and hang out together. This storytime is geared for toddlers, but all ages are welcome!

Thursday Morning Book Talks, every Thursday morning at 10:30am- We will be meeting in the gazebo outside to talk about what we are reading, color pictures, and hang out!

A few still available!: Sew a Colorful Chameleon with a Take-Home Kit! - Ellen Lumpkin Brown of the Sew It! Workshop has put together some awesome kits for us to sew our own colorful stuffed chameleons! This kit is recommended for ages 8 and up.

This kit does include a sewing needle, so we advise parental supervision at all times! Registration is required.

The workshop video is no longer available but there are written instructions included!

August

8/4 at 10:30am: Magical Melodies with Mr. Chris! - We could not be happier to have Mr. Chris and his awesome dance parties back at the library! Mr. Chris is going to be singing, dancing, and having a wild good time with kids of all ages. This event is scheduled to be outside the library at our gazebo, but will be shifted to a virtual event in the event of bad weather. Registration is not required.

8/10 at 2pm: Magic Tales and Tails with Steve Woyce Magic - This program is going to be filled to the brim with colorful comedy magic and is geared to ages 4-10 but is sure to be fun for audiences of all ages! The audience will help paint the stripes on a zebra, play a magical game of hide and seek, and help make Lucy the Magic Rabbit appear from an empty circus wagon. This event will be held in the gazebo outside the library. Registration is required.

8/26 at 11am: Unique Creatures Animal Presentation - We are going to welcome some fuzzy (or maybe even scaly!) friends to the library to visit us IN PERSON outside the library! Larry is an animal expert and an animal lover who is going to bring all sorts of interesting animals for a presentation where we will all learn a ton! This event is for all ages, and registration is required.
