I am a research economist in the Economic and Social Analysis, and Modelling Division at Statistics Canada where I have been since 2016. I am a former labour economist from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) where I examined the implications of artificial intelligence, automation, and other disruptive forces on local labour markets across the OECD.
My research interests are primarily in econometrics, labour economics, and the measurement of socio-economic well-being, poverty, and inequality. My research has been published in national and international journals including Economics Letters, Canadian Public Policy, Canadian Tax Journal, Social Indicators Research, Child Indicators Research, Econometrics, and Communications in Statistics - Theory and Methods.
I received my B.Comm. and M.A. in economics from Toronto Metropolitan University (Canada), and Ph.D. in economics from the University of Portsmouth (United Kingdom).
