A point is a dot (.) that is used to locate specific location. 

Example 1

Point A is the the co-ordinate (4, 4)

Point M, Point N and Point O create Triangle MNO.

Example 2

Even without the axes, a point can still idendify a location. 

Point M, Point N and Point O create Triangle MNO.
