Temperature

Temperature is the measure of how hot or cold an object is. 

In New Zealand, we most often measure temperature with degrees Celsius (symbol ℃), named after Anders Celsius who developed the scale.

eg Yesterday the temperature reached a maximum of 27℃ .

You can also measure temperature in Fahrenheit or Kelvin.

We use a thermometer to measure temperature.
