What is TagsBUDDY?
TagsBUDDY is your AI YouTube strategist — a mobile-first companion for creators who want clearer data and smarter recommendations. It connects to your YouTube channel, reads your performance and metadata, and surfaces what to improve next: better titles, smarter tags, niche signals, and competitor patterns you can learn from.
Everything is calibrated for one purpose: helping you grow without burning hours on the analytics tab.
Getting started in 3 steps
1. Sign in with Google. Tap "Continue with Google" on the welcome screen. We use Google sign-in so you don't have to remember another password.
2. Connect your YouTube channel. Authorize read access to your YouTube data. We only read — we never post, edit, or delete anything without your explicit approval.
3. Let TagsBUDDY scan your channel. The first scan takes 30 to 60 seconds. We pull your recent videos, detect your niche and tone, identify top themes, and calculate per-video scores. After that, the app is ready to use.

Videos — Per-video performance scores and AI-generated title and tag improvements you can apply with one tap.
Discover — Conversational assistant tuned for YouTube content topics. Ask questions about your channel or your niche in plain English.
Competitors — Track other channels in your niche. Compare growth, spot content gaps, and find topic ideas.
Profile — Manage your connected channel, view credits, send feedback, and rate us.
Your privacy
What we access:
- View YouTube analytics — required to generate personalized growth insights.
- Manage YouTube account — required only if you choose to apply AI-optimized tags or titles directly from the app. Nothing is changed without your explicit approval.
What we never do:
- Sell or share your personal data with third parties.
- Access channels you haven't connected.
Where your data lives:
Your channel data is stored encrypted on our servers and used only to power the insights you see in the app. You can disconnect your channel at any time from Profile, Sign out, which revokes our access.
Premium and credits
TagsBUDDY is free to start. Some AI-powered actions consume credits. Free accounts get a daily allowance; Premium unlocks a higher monthly pool and removes most caps.
Premium plans:
- Monthly — billed every month, cancel anytime.
- Yearly — pay annually, save vs. monthly.
Both plans give you the same features. Manage or cancel your subscription anytime from your Google Play subscriptions page.
How credits work:
Every AI action shows its cost before you confirm. Credits refresh on a rolling daily window for free accounts and a monthly window for Premium.
Restoring purchases:
If you uninstalled the app or switched devices, reinstall, sign in with the same Google account, and your Premium status will restore automatically.
Frequently asked questions
Why does the app need access to my YouTube channel?
To read your analytics and metadata so the AI can generate personalized insights. We never modify anything without your explicit tap-to-confirm.
Will TagsBUDDY change my video titles or tags automatically?
No. Every AI suggestion requires you to tap Apply before anything is written to YouTube.
Can I disconnect my channel?
Yes — open Profile, then Sign out. This clears your local session. To revoke YouTube access entirely, visit your Google Account security page and remove TagsBUDDY from third-party apps.
My channel data looks outdated.
We refresh your data on a schedule. Pull-to-refresh on the Home screen forces a sync. If a video you just published isn't showing up, give YouTube a few minutes to make it available via API.
The scan failed or got stuck.
Make sure you have a stable internet connection, then close and reopen the app. If it persists, send us a note via Profile, then Send feedback with details about what happened.
Can I connect multiple YouTube channels?
Yes. From Profile, tap your channel name to switch between connected channels.
Does TagsBUDDY work without internet?
No — all insights and AI features require an active connection.
Why am I seeing Item unavailable when trying to subscribe?
Make sure your device has Google Play Store installed and you're signed in with the same Google account you use in the app. If you installed via APK rather than Play Store, in-app subscriptions won't work.
How do I delete my account?
Email androdeveloper24@gmail.com
from your registered address and we'll permanently delete your account and all associated data within 7 business days.
Troubleshooting
App won't sign in:
- Confirm you have an active internet connection.
- Make sure you're signing in with a Google account that owns or manages a YouTube channel.
- Try force-closing the app and reopening.
Channel scan never finishes:
- The scan typically takes 30 to 60 seconds. If it takes longer, your channel may have a large video library — give it up to 2 minutes.
- If it still doesn't complete, close and reopen the app; the scan will resume.
AI suggestions aren't loading:
- You may be out of daily credits. Check your credits in Profile.
- The AI service may be temporarily busy — try again in a few minutes.
App crashes:
- Update to the latest version from the Play Store.
- Clear the app's cache from Settings, Apps, TagsBUDDY, Storage, Clear cache.
- If it persists, please send us the details via Profile, then Send feedback.
