- Greeting from the President and the Principal (理事長・園長あいさつ)
Nerima Midori Gakuen Educational Corporation Tagara Kindergarten has been dedicated to early childhood education since its establishment in 1959. Since then, we have continued to be a kindergarten that is loved by everyone in the area. We are aware that the educational activities of our kindergarten are highly valued, and we deeply appreciate the support and cooperation of everyone involved. Our staff will continue to further develop their skills.
Our emblem, "Three Geese in a Circle" embodies the hope that the children will go on to make great strides in the world together with the "staff, parents, and local community." In order to ensure that the traditions of our kindergarten that we have cultivated over the years continue into the future, and to meet the expectations of our users, we will continue to keep in mind healthy kindergarten management.
As the President, I will continue to strive to improve the educational environment with an eye on the times. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation with our kindergarten.

Since my appointment as Principal (April 1, 2018), I have been working to create a kindergarten befitting an educational corporation. I have been involved in higher education for many years, and when I started working in early childhood education, I advocated "whole-person education (Note 1)," and promoted education that emphasizes importance of "life (life force)," "the mind (vitality)," and "the body (energy)" that Tagara Kindergarten has cherished. As a traditional kindergarten rooted in the local community, I am deeply grateful for the love and support we receive from so many people.
The staff first and foremost pays attention to the humanity and sensibilities of each child, creates an environment in which the children can demonstrate their abilities, and generously provides the necessary educational support. We respect the individuality of children and practice education and childcare that takes into account the four "self-starters" (spontaneity, independence, autonomy, and self-respect). Homeroom teachers approach education and childcare with a tenacious research spirit when creating syllabi (annual education plans) and weekly reports.
The staff members of our kindergarten, both regular and non-regular, work diligently in their duties and interact with the children every day with a new spirit. It is our proud responsibility as staff to contribute to the healthy growth of children and protect their safety and security. We will do our best to keep in mind the honor and responsibility of being the first step in the educational career of children. Kindergartens are positioned as "schools where children meet for the first time,'' and children take their first steps into social life at Tagara Kindergarten. Aiming to enrich early childhood education, we will produce concrete results and reflect the process of connecting kindergarten and elementary school in the four to three year educational curriculum. Education and childcare can fulfill their original purpose through close collaboration with parents, local communities, administrative agencies, etc.
Tagara Kindergarten strives to maintain and improve a comfortable working environment, and strives for self-improvement and work with a spirit of well-being (Note 2). Please stay tuned.
