By bidding in Tafit Auction’s silent auctions, each bidder agrees to these auction rules.
All items being registered for sale within the auction must have proof of ownership or they will be denied access to the auction.
All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds unless otherwise noted. All items are “as is.” Tafit Auction has attempted to describe and catalog items correctly, but neither warrants nor represents and in no event shall be responsible for the correctness of descriptions, genuineness, authorship, provenance, or condition of the items. No statement made in this catalog, or made orally at the auction or elsewhere, shall be deemed such a warranty, representation, or assumption of liability.
The auction item value listed is an estimate of fair market value. Items have not been appraised unless so noted. The amount you pay above this fair market value estimate is usually tax deductible as a charitable contribution. Please consult your tax adviser to clarify the amount of deduction.
All bids will be made using the online bidding sheets which have the item to begin bidding for.
After the highest bid at the end of the auction has been determined, the funds will be taken from the preloaded funds with the difference being refunded via bank deposit within 7 business days days of the end of the auction.
All bidders not successful in the auction will have their preloaded funds returned via bank deposit within 7 business days of the end of the auction.
Restaurant certificates do not include alcohol, tax, or gratuities unless specified.
Payment for items purchased must be made in full on the day of the auction by bank deposit or online payment. Tafit Auction accepts cash, MasterCard, Visa, or a check payable to Tafit Tech Limited. Please allow 24 hours after the silent auction bidding has closed before those that were not successful in the auction to collect a refund of their bidding deposit by bank deposit.
The bidder will preload funds using the bidder's registration form before participating in the auction.
Following payments, you may pick up your purchases at the Tafit Tech Limit office in Port of Spain or have them delivered to any address within the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago at a cost that will be indicated in your purchase invoice. You must show your paid receipt for items and identification used for registration.
The bidder must pick up all items within ninety(90) days of the end of the auction unless special arrangements were made. Any item left unclaimed, without prior arrangements, will be re-sold/auctioned and proceeds retained by Tafit Tech Limited.
Tafit Auction reserves the right to add or withdraw items, without notice, to or from the auction.
Unless otherwise specified, all auction gift certificates must be used within one year of the auction date.
Each person bidding assumes all risks and hazards related to the auction and items obtained at the auction. Each bidder agrees to hold harmless from any liability arising indirectly from Tafit Auction, their elected and appointed officials, members and employees, the auctioneer(s), the auction company and its agents and employees, the event organizers, sponsors, and volunteers connected with the auction.
All information in the Service is provided "as is", with no guarantee of completeness,
accuracy, timeliness or of the results obtained from the use of this information, and without
