1. 북한에서의 권위주의적 사회화와 정치적 태도 형성에 관한 연구
   Authoritarian Socialization and Political Attitudes in North Korea

• 탈북민 조사 데이터를 기반으로, 북한 주민들이 어떻게 체제 이념과 권위주의적 질서를 내면화하는지 분석

• 선전, 감시, 학교 교육 등의 역할을 중심으로 정치적 태도 형성 과정을 연구

• Explores how North Koreans internalize authoritarian values through education, propaganda, and surveillance. Uses defectors survey data to examine the persistence of authoritarian attitudes post-defection.

2. 조선로동당 엘리트 데이터 구축 및 분석
   WPK Elite Dataset and Analysis 

• 북한 건국 이후 현재까지 조선로동당 중앙위원회 간부들의 임명, 해임, 숙청 이력 및 개인적 배경을 체계적으로 수집하여 데이터셋을 구축하고, 이를 통해 권력 재편의 역학과 엘리트 생존 전략을 실증적으로 분석 

• Constructs an individual-level panel dataset of Central Committee officials in the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) by systematically collecting data on their personal backgrounds, appointments, dismissals, and purges from North Korea’s founding to the present, and analyzes the dynamics of power reshuffling and elite survival strategies. 

3. 북한의 시장화와 주민들의 인식 속 불평등
   Marketization and Perceived Inequality in North Korean
   Society

• 시장화 이후 북한 주민들이 사회적 불평등을 어떻게 인식하는지 분석

• 경제적 탈국가화가 계층 인식, 기회 구조, 정당성 인식에 미친 영향에 주목

• Investigates how informal markets and economic liberalization have altered perceptions of fairness, class, and opportunity in North Korea.

4. 남한 내 북한이탈주민의 권위주의적 태도와 체제유산 연구
   Authoritarian Legacies among North Korean Defectors in South Korea

• 권위주의 체제에서의 다양한 사회화 경험이 남한에서의 민주주의 수용, 권위주의적 태도 지속, 정책 선호 등에 미치는 영향을 분석

• Examines how prior experiences under North Korean authoritarianism shape defectors’ political attitudes and democratic integration in South Korea.

5. 남한 국민의 대북 인식과 정책 선호의 형성 요인 분석
   Public Perceptions and North Korea Policy in South Korea

• 남북관계 이벤트와 안보 위협 인식이 국민의 대북정책 선호(대화, 억지, 통일)에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 여론조사 데이터로 분석

• Analyzes how inter-Korean events, military provocations, and threat perception shape South Korean citizens’ attitudes toward engagement, deterrence, and unification.
