Taehyun Jung, Ph.D.

Taehyun Jung is an Associate Professor at Graduate School of Technology and Innovation Management, Hanyang University. He is also affiliated with Division of Interdisciplinary Industrial Studies. He teaches innovation strategy, theory of technological innovation, intellectual property rights, and strategic management, among others.

Before joining Hanyang University in 2013, he spent 3 years as an Assistant Professor at Lund University, Sweden and 1 year at Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research, Germany.

He earned Ph.D. from the Joint Public Policy Program between Georgia Tech and Georgia State University, U.S.A. in 2009. His dissertation was about patent commercialization. He also studied Economics at Yonsei University and Physics at Seoul National University.

His recent research interests cover innovation systems, indicators and measures of innovation, patent and commercialization strategy, and dynamics of venture firms and venture capital.
