Hi!
I am Taehee Han, born in Seoul. My journey into science began when I was admitted to the Korea Science Academy (KSA, 한국과학영재학교) of KAIST in 2010, where I developed a strong passion for research and discovery.rft nbm
I earned my bachelor's degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and then went on to get my Master's and Ph.D. degree in the same department.
My doctoral research in the Metabolic & Biomolecular Engineering Laboratory (MBEL) at KAIST, under the guidance of Professor Sang Yup Lee (Google scholar, lab), focused on systems metabolic engineering—a multidisciplinary field that integrates metabolic engineering, systems biology, and synthetic biology to rationally design biological systems.
Currently, I am a postdoctoral research fellow at Wang lab (lab) at Columbia University, where I continue to pursue cutting-edge research—and I’m always excited about new opportunities to collaborate and innovate!
