CASP CONFERENCE
El PASO, TEXAS
Sunday, October 14th- Tuesday, October 16th
This year’s theme is “Respecting Foundations: Renovation Through Preservation.” This theme is very fitting as the hotel is being completely renovated, much like Developmental Education is being renovated in Texas. As anyone with a basic understanding of renovations knows, the respect of foundations is critical to the success of a renovation.
Come to El Paso and share how your classroom and institution is respecting foundations through preservation while renovating programs such as co-requisite models. Topics to consider for this conference include, but are not limited to:
ABE- Adult Basic Education & High School to College Partnerships
Developmental Math
Developmental English/Integrated Reading and Writing
First Year Experience & Learning Framework Courses
Learning Support
Research (Three 15 minute presentations within each session followed by Q&A)
New Technology, Innovation, and Co-Requisite Model
