hello and welcome!
Originally from South Africa, where I obtained my undergraduate degree in Modern Languages and an Honours degree in Applied Language Studies, I recently completed my Master's degree in Theoretical and Experimental Linguistics and am currently a doctoral researcher in the acquisition of second language (L2) phonology.
My research interests include (but are not limited to) psycho-, neuro- and cognitive linguistics, language acquisition, and the production and perception of speech, specifically that of L2 learners. I also enjoy music, poetry, and how they interact with language and cognition.Â
