T9Key Keyboard - Privacy Policy
Last update: 30.12.2025
The "T9Key Keyboard" application (hereinafter referred to as the “Application”) is a keyboard app designed solely to allow the user to input text. The Application does not process, collect, or store any personal data. This policy explains how the Application uses entered data, permissions, and optional features.
1. Text data processing
The Application does not collect, record, store, or transmit any text entered by the user while using the keyboard. The entered data is used only locally, for example, to type characters into text fields in other applications. The Application does not have access to any data stored on the device and does not share any information with third parties.
Exceptions apply only to functions that the user explicitly activates:
Voice input: Audio from the microphone is transmitted online directly to the Google Speech Recognition service for speech recognition.
Translator: The selected text is transmitted online directly to external Google services (Cloud Translation API) for the purpose of providing the translation feature.
Text correction in the voice input function: If the user uses the text correction feature in the voice input function, the selected text is sent to Google services (AI Gemini) to generate a corrected version.
Apart from these cases, the Application does not transmit any data online and does not share information with third parties.
2. Data collected by the application
The T9Key Keyboard application does not collect any personal or technical data.
Specifically, the Application:
- does not record entered characters,
- does not store text or voice recordings,
- does not collect user information,
- does not share any data with third parties, except for the services listed in section 1, which are used solely when the user intentionally activates the corresponding functions.
3. Application permissions
The Application may request the following permissions:
Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO) – used exclusively for the voice input function. Audio is transmitted directly to Google Speech Recognition and is not stored by the Application. The Application does not use any other permissions beyond what is necessary for its basic keyboard functionality.
4. Consent and withdrawal
By using the voice input, text correction, or translation features, the user agrees to the processing of data by Google in accordance with its privacy policy.
Google Privacy Policy:
https://policies.google.com/privacy
The user may withdraw their consent at any time by disabling the relevant feature in the Application settings (under the help section for that feature).
Additionally, the user may disable microphone access in the Android system settings, which will prevent the use of the voice input feature.
5. Changes to the privacy policy
This policy may be updated in the future to remain compliant with Google requirements or changes in the Application’s operation. The current version will be available at this address.
