### 1. Information We Collect
Personal Information: We DO NOT collect any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, phone number, passwords, or credit card details.
Non-Personal Information: We may collect the following types of non-personal information to improve app performance and user experience:
- Device Information: Device model, Android version, and screen size.
- App Usage Data: Which features (Translation, PDF Tools, Scanner) are used most frequently.
- Advertising IDs: Unique identifiers used by Google AdMob to deliver personalized advertisements.
- Crash Logs: Anonymous reports to help us fix bugs and improve stability (via Firebase/Google Play Console).
User-Generated Content (Local Processing):
- Images & Documents: Images you select for scanning, PDF creation, or text extraction are processed locally on your device. We DO NOT upload your personal photos or documents to any server.
- Voice Data: Audio recorded via the microphone is used strictly for speech-to-text conversion and is not stored or shared.
### 2. How We Use Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- Core Functionality: To provide features like Text-to-Speech (TTS), Language Translation, Document Scanning, PDF Creation, and Voice Typing.
- Advertising: To display banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads via Google AdMob.
- Analytics: To understand user behavior and improve app performance using Firebase Analytics.
- Accessibility: To read text from your screen using the Accessibility Service (only if you grant this permission for translation via tap or drag interaction).
### 3. Permissions We Request
To provide a seamless experience, we request the following permissions based on the features you use:
1. Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO):
- Why: Required for the Voice Typing feature in the T2h Keyboard.
- Privacy: We only listen when you tap the microphone icon. Audio is processed by the system's speech recognition engine and is never stored.
2. Overlay Permission (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW):
- Why: Required to display the "Floating Button" over other apps for quick translation access.
- Consent: You must explicitly grant this permission from settings.
3. Accessibility Service (BIND_ACCESSIBILITY_SERVICE):
- Why: Used ONLY to read text from your screen (e.g., from WhatsApp or browsers) when you tap or drag the floating button for translation.
- Privacy: We do not store or transmit your screen content. It is processed temporarily for translation and then discarded.
4. Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS):
- Why: To show controls for the floating button service in the status bar and send occasional daily reminders.
5. Alarms & Reminders (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM):
- Why: Required to ensure daily notifications (like learning reminders) arrive at the exact scheduled time (e.g., 7:00 AM or 8:00 PM).
6. Internet Access:
- Why: Required for fetching translations from Google Translate API, downloading language models, and loading advertisements.
Note on Camera & Storage: We DO NOT request standard Camera or Storage permissions. Instead, we use secure system pickers (Intent-based) that allow you to select specific files or capture images without exposing your entire gallery or storage to the app.
### 4. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:

### 5. Data Security
- Local Processing: All PDF generation, document scanning, and text extraction happen offline on your device. Your files never leave your phone.
- Translation: Text sent for translation is transmitted securely to translation servers and is not stored by us.
- Keyboard Privacy: Our custom keyboard (T2h Translate Keyboard) is designed to ensure your privacy. We do not collect or store keystrokes, passwords, or sensitive data.
### 6. Children’s Privacy
This app is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
### 7. User Control & Opt-Out
- Permissions: You can revoke Overlay, Notification, Microphone, or Accessibility permissions at any time from your device settings.
- Uninstall: You can stop all data collection by uninstalling the app.
