# Privacy Policy for SyntaxAuto: Syntax Automaton
**Last Updated: September 2, 2026**
This Privacy Policy explains how SyntaxAuto: Syntax Automaton ("the Game") handles information when you install and use the mobile application.
The Game is designed as a standalone puzzle and automation game. Based on the application's implemented functionality, the Game does not require users to create an account, provide a name, email address, telephone number, physical address, or other personal profile information in order to play.
By installing or using the Game, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
## 1. Information We Collect
The Game itself does not provide functionality for directly collecting or requesting personal information such as:
* Your name
* Email address
* Telephone number
* Postal or physical address
* Date of birth
* Contacts
* Photos or videos
* Camera data
* Microphone or audio recordings
* Location information
* Biometric information
* Health information
* Financial or payment information
* Login credentials
* Social-media account information
The Game also does not include user account registration or an in-game profile system.
## 2. Gameplay Data Stored on Your Device
The Game uses local device storage to preserve certain gameplay progress.
Specifically, the Game may store:
* Your best score
* Your current game level
This information is stored locally on your device using the platform's local preferences storage mechanism.
This locally stored gameplay information is used to preserve your progress and improve continuity between sessions.
The Game does not require you to submit this gameplay information to us.
## 3. Game Content and Gameplay Information
During gameplay, the application maintains temporary game-state information required to operate the game, including items on the game grid, their positions, generated syntax characters, the current target, score information, bug counts, and the current factory configuration.
This information is part of normal gameplay operation.
The supplied application code does not implement a remote account, online player profile, gameplay analytics system, advertising system, or server-side gameplay database.
## 4. Blueprint Export and Clipboard
SyntaxAuto: Syntax Automaton provides an Export feature that converts the current factory grid into a serialized blueprint and copies that blueprint to the device clipboard.
The blueprint represents the configuration of the game's grid, including node types and directions.
When you use Export:
1. The current factory configuration is converted into a data representation.
2. That representation is encoded for clipboard transfer.
3. The resulting text is copied to the device clipboard.
The Game does not require you to send the exported blueprint to an online service.
You are responsible for deciding where you subsequently paste, store, share, or transmit an exported blueprint.
The Game's Import feature allows you to paste blueprint text into the Game. The supplied implementation decodes the text and reconstructs the factory grid.
Because clipboard contents can potentially be accessible to other applications depending on the operating system and device configuration, you should avoid placing sensitive personal information in the clipboard while using any application.
The blueprints generated by the Game are intended to contain game configuration data rather than personal information.
## 5. In-App Updates
The Game includes functionality that checks whether an update is available through the Android in-app update mechanism.
If an update is reported as available, the application can initiate the platform-supported update flow.
This functionality is intended solely to help keep the installed Game version current.
The update process may involve Google Play and the Android operating system and is therefore subject to Google's applicable privacy practices and terms in addition to this Privacy Policy.
The Game itself does not use the update functionality as an in-game user profiling or advertising mechanism.
## 6. Advertising
The supplied application code does not implement an advertising SDK or an in-game advertising system.
Accordingly, the Game does not intentionally collect personal information for the purpose of displaying behaviorally targeted advertisements through functionality contained in the supplied application code.
## 7. Analytics and Tracking
The supplied application code does not contain an analytics SDK, advertising identifier integration, crash-reporting SDK, or user-tracking implementation.
The Game therefore does not intentionally create a separate in-game analytics profile of individual players through such services.
Third-party platform services, including the operating system and Google Play, may independently process technical information according to their own policies when you use an Android device or obtain the Game through Google Play.
## 8. Internet and Network Access
The core gameplay does not require an online account or an online game server.
The supplied game logic performs gameplay locally on the device.
The application does, however, include in-app update functionality. Consequently, the device may communicate with the applicable platform services when an update check or update operation is performed.
Any information processed by the platform as part of that operation is governed by the applicable platform's policies.
## 9. Third-Party Services
The application includes the following functional dependencies relevant to privacy:
* Local preferences storage for saving gameplay progress.
* Android in-app update functionality for checking and applying available application updates.
These components serve specific application functions and are not used by the Game as an independent user-registration or advertising system.
Third-party platform services may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
## 10. Children's Privacy
The Game does not knowingly request names, email addresses, telephone numbers, precise location, contacts, photographs, microphone recordings, or other direct personal information from players.
Because the Game is intended to function as a standalone puzzle/automation game, players can use its core gameplay without creating an account or submitting personal profile information.
Parents and guardians should nevertheless supervise children's use of mobile devices and review the privacy practices of the device platform and application distribution service.
## 11. Data Security
The Game is designed to keep its gameplay progress on the user's device rather than requiring a remote player account.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
The security of information stored on the device may also depend on the device's operating-system security, user access controls, backups, and other settings outside the Game's control.
Users should maintain appropriate device security, including a secure device lock where appropriate.
## 12. Data Sharing
The supplied application does not implement functionality for selling, renting, or sharing a player's personal information with advertisers or data brokers.
The Game does not provide a feature that uploads a player's best score, level, or factory blueprint to a developer-operated online profile.
If you voluntarily copy or share an exported blueprint using another application or service, that subsequent handling is controlled by the application or service you choose to use.
## 13. Data Retention
Gameplay information saved locally, such as best score and level, remains on the device until it is changed, removed by the application, cleared through device/application settings, or otherwise removed as part of device management.
Blueprint text copied to the clipboard is controlled by the device's clipboard system and operating system. The retention and availability of clipboard contents can therefore depend on the device and operating-system implementation.
The Game does not maintain a separate online database of these gameplay records based on the supplied application implementation.
## 14. Data Deletion
Because the Game does not require an online account, there is no in-game account profile that needs to be deleted.
Locally stored Game data can generally be removed through the applicable device or application-management controls, such as clearing the application's stored data or uninstalling the application, subject to the operating system's behavior.
Any copied blueprint text should be removed from the device clipboard according to the device's available clipboard controls.
## 15. Permissions and Device Access
The Game's supplied source code does not implement gameplay functionality requiring access to:
* Contacts
* Camera
* Microphone
* Precise location
* Call logs
* SMS
* Health information
* Photos or media for gameplay
* Biometric information
The application uses normal application functionality required for gameplay, local storage, clipboard-based blueprint exchange, and platform-supported update checking.
Actual permissions displayed by the operating system may vary according to the final build configuration and platform requirements.
## 16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if the application's functionality, data practices, or applicable requirements change.
When material changes are made, the updated policy should be published with a revised "Last Updated" date.
Users are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
## 17. Your Choices
You can choose whether to:
* Play the Game.
* Export a blueprint.
* Import a blueprint.
* Use the available update functionality.
* Remove locally stored application data through your device's controls.
The Game's core functionality does not require users to create an account or submit personal profile information.
## 18. Contact and Questions
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or the privacy practices associated with the Game, please use the support or contact mechanism made available with the application or its distribution listing.
## 19. Important Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy describes the data practices represented by the supplied application implementation.
Device manufacturers, operating-system providers, application stores, and other third-party services may independently collect or process technical information when you use a mobile device or download and update an application.
Those external practices are governed by the respective third party's own privacy policies and terms.
## 20. Acceptance
By installing or using SyntaxAuto: Syntax Automaton, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you should discontinue use of the Game and remove it from your device.
