Does anyone know why Synology Drive Client on windows 11 would be using 20%+ cpu usuage when not backing up any files. I looked in the drive client app, and the logs don't show any file backups since the set time last night.

My Synology was up all night doing something, with a continuous high cpu load (up to 70%). Using the resource monitor I noticed it was a "cloud-drive-daemon (32)". I tried googling it, but I only found people with the same problem - but no solution.

Synology Drive helps you transform your Synology NAS into your own private cloud. It allows you to access and share files wherever you are, whether from the Synology Drive mobile app, desktop client, web browser, or another Synology NAS. It can ensure that you can share your documents safely and protect them with granular permission settings and SSL encryption.

Synology Drive is a great way to manage your private cloud. I made some screenshots for a better understanding of the process. Once you have the client installed on your windows or mac machine, follow the installation wizard. 2351a5e196
