Brief Biography:

Currently, I am working as an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad, India. I completed my Ph.D. degree at the Energy Storage Laboratory of the Centre for Nanotechnology, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee), India in September 2022 under the supervision of Prof. Yogesh Sharma. My research interests include the Fabrication of Energy storage devices for wearable electronics including Advanced Flexible Supercapacitors/Micro-supercapacitors and their integration with Triboelectric Nanogenerators, Li-ion Batteries, and Neuromorphic Computing.

Key Highlights for My Ph.D. Research Work: During my Ph.D., I worked on ‘Binder-free TiO2-based Flexible Supercapacitors for Low-power Wearable Electronics’. The fabrication of TiO2 nanofibers was performed using the electrospinning technique and electrodes were fabricated via electrophoretic deposition technique. Through the optimization of process parameters, I fabricated a flexible supercapacitor device based on carbon cloth, a flexible yarn-based supercapacitor device, and an interdigitated micro-supercapacitor device for flexible/wearable low-power electronics applications. Apart from this, I also worked on binder-free electrode fabrication, coin cell fabrication for Li-ion battery application, and the deposition of thin films of polymer electrolytes for solid-state batteries.

I joined the Micro-Electro-Mechanical System (MEMS) Group, CSIR-Central Electronics Engineering  Research Institute (CEERI), Pilani, Rajasthan, India from May 2015 to March 2017 as a Project Assistant. I completed my Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Kurukshetra University in 2015. During my M.Tech project, I worked on ‘Design and Development of MEMS Capacitive Accelerometer’ at CSIR-CEERI, Pilani, India.

I completed my Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) from the University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, India from 2008 to 2012.

My home town is Kurukshetra. Kurukshetra is a district located in the Northern Indian state of Haryana. The Kurukshetra district is a well-known tourist destination, famous for its great historical and religious importance, revered all over the country for its sacred association with the Vedas and the Vedic Culture. It was here that the battle of Mahabharat was fought and Lord Krishna preached his Philosophy of 'KARMA' as enshrined in the Holy Bhagwad-Gita, to Arjuna at Jyotisar.
