Privacy Policy for Symptom Sense Tracker
Effective date: August 4, 2026
Symptom Sense Tracker is designed to keep your symptom journal private. The app lets you record daily feeling scores, custom tracker scores, and free-text notes about symptoms, routines, activities, or other context you choose to add.
Information You Enter
Symptom Sense Tracker stores your daily scores, custom trackers, and notes locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData storage. The app does not require an account and does not send your journal entries to a developer-run server.
Information We Collect
The current release is designed so the developer does not collect personal data from the app. The app does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, or account registration.
Because your entries stay on your device, the developer cannot view, sell, share, or use your symptom journal, tracker names, scores, or notes.
On-Device Insights
The app may analyze your entries on device to show trend and pattern insights. These insights are informational only and are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for care from a qualified clinician.
Backups, Sync, and Device Services
If you use iOS backup, iCloud backup, device migration, or other Apple services, local app data may be included according to your Apple device and iCloud settings. Those services are provided by Apple and are governed by Apple’s terms and privacy policy.
Deleting Your Data
You can delete entries inside the app where deletion controls are available. You can also remove locally stored app data by deleting the app from your device, subject to how iOS handles app deletion and any backups you keep.
The developer does not maintain a separate server copy of your entries, so there is no developer-hosted account or database to delete.
Children’s Privacy
Symptom Sense Tracker is not directed to children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Policy Changes
If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted with a new effective date.
