Hi!
I am Syeda Farjana Shetu. I am currently pursuing an M.S. in Computer Science at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UT San Antonio), where I also serve as a Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA). In this role, I support undergraduate courses through instructional assistance, grading, and student mentoring, while strengthening my academic foundation and research skills in computer science.
I previously worked as a Senior Software QA Engineer at BJIT Limited, with five years of industry experience and contributions to multiple international projects across the USA, Japan, Finland, and the Philippines.
I hold a B.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering from Daffodil International University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. My undergraduate research, “A Survey of Botnet in Cyber Security” supervised by Ms. Nazmun Nessa Moon, is published in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
Passionate about technology and communication, I excelled in hosting events during my studies, showcasing my leadership and organizational skills. To further enhance my research capabilities, I actively volunteered as a Research Associate with Ms. Moon Ma'am from January 2020 to December 2020. Previously, I contributed to academic research, with publications in Elsevier, IEEE Xplore, and Springer. I was honored with Research Contribution Awards (2019–2021) from Daffodil International University and a Certification of Excellence (2020–2022) from Elsevier.
