SYED AFROZ KERAMAT
Syed Afroz Keramat is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Health Services Research (CHSR) at the University of Queensland, Australia. He continues to develop research interests related to health economics, health services research, health policy, Health-related Quality of Life (HRQOL), valuing and measurement of HRQOL, and economic evaluation of healthcare technologies.
Dr Afroz authored or co-authored over 50 peer-reviewed journal articles and published his work in leading medical and health policy journals, such as PharmacoEconomics, Social Science & Medicine, Applied Health Economics and Health Policy, Quality of Life Research, JAMDA, Value in Health, and Cost Effectiveness and Resource Allocation. He is currently an Associate Editor for the journal ‘BMC Public Health’ (health economics section). Dr. Afroz received his PhD in health economics from the University of Southern Queensland (Australia) in 2021. He also holds a Master's in economics from the University of Warwick (UK), Lund University (Sweden), and the University of Pavia (Italy).
