Anchored in the simplicity of what it means to perform a movement, Framework, explores two bodies coming together to create a singular form. Filmed during the pandemic, when connection to others seemed significantly more vital and more fleeting, this short dance film strips away emotion so all that is left is the body and its movements. Influenced by the Cunningham technique, Framework explores a multitude of angled shapes and patterns, emphasizing the functionality of our bodies. Overall, we learn that the body remains a constant vessel for expression and connection.
