Graphics Design Competition Rulebook

Brief Description:

Graphics is creative and artistic ability to promote the ideas and links emotions and ideas with in single thread of visual art.

Graphics Designing Competition is one of the sub-events within SXC Computer Festival 2020 organized by St. Xavier’s College, Maitighar where students up to +2 level and A-level are allowed to compete with their graphics design in the theme “TRANSCEND TO TRANSFORM”; promoting VISIT NEPAL 2020.

Eligibility and Format:

· Students from all over Nepal up to +2 levels are eligible for participation.

· Individual participations are eligible for this competition.

Registration:

Registration should be done in the following ways:

· By registering through the form provided to your college.

· By visiting to St Xavier’s college in college hours (9:30 AM to 4:30 PM) to fill form with mentioned fee.

· By registering through the online forms.

Rules:

1. Participant must submit their design in Gmail given below along with their personal and college details in proper format and picture of filled form.

2. Contestant will be given 2 to 5 min of time to explain how their design meets the theme.

3. Copyright free graphics must be sent.

4. The work must be the original creation of the participant.

5. The work must not portray vibes of negativity, racism, cultural discrimination and other things that might cause social conflict.

6. Copied logos and logos emitting negative vibes will be automatically disqualified.

7. Final product should be submitted within 8th February as mentioned in event’s notice.

*The Organizer holds the right to change any of the rules at any point of time.

Theme:

The theme for the competition is Visit Nepal 2020.

Other category of design carrying particular message or theme is also accepted.

Preferences:

●Well thought out design are highly prioritized.

● Eye-catching design are highly appreciated.

Winner Selection:

Winner of the competition will be selected through voting among the committee

Members (40%) and by judges (60%) winners shall be decided solely based on majority.

The winner shall be publicly announced on the day of the Festival in front of a

huge crowd including students and experts.

Winner will be awarded with certificates, cash prizes and many more.

Best graphic design will be published in club websites and social sites.
