Get Started with office setup

Setup and Install Office on your Device with www.office.com/setup or office.com/setup to Setup Office on your Device.

www.office.com/setup - Enter Product Key

  1. Go to www.office.com/setup office setup website.

  2. Click Sign In to log in to your Account or Create new Account.

  3. Enter Product key, Click Next.

  4. Click Install to download office setup.

  5. Save and Run Office installation.

  6. Finish Wizard and You’re all Set, Open Apps.


Office.com/setup - Activate Office:

If you already installed Office and now you are looking forward to Activate Office on your Device follow steps below:

  1. Open any Office Application.

  2. You will get a prompt to Sign In or Create Account.

  3. Sign In with your Microsoft Account.

  4. If your Office shows Activating and activates by itself that means you do not need anything else to do, If it shows another prompt asking your help for Activation, Follow the on-screen wizard and your Office will be activated.

Office.com/setup - Setup Office On Mac

Follow the step’s to install Office on the Mac:

  1. After you have downloaded the package, Go to Finder and go to Downloads Folder.

  2. Find Microsoft Office Installer.dmg.

  3. Now you a Folder with the installation screen will open.

  4. A Prompt will appear that will ask you to put your username and password to make changes.

  5. Once you have allowed the installation, the process will start.

  6. Follow on-screen instructions and you’re all done.

Office.com/setup - install Office on Windows:

  1. When the download completed, go to files and double-click the “Microsoft Office Installer.exe”. (An installation window appears on your pc screen.)

  2. An alert appears on your computer screen, asking you that “Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your Device?”, select Yes.

  3. It shows you the option to select the required package to install. i.e., Complete Package or Custom Package.

  4. Installation begins. Wait for the Installation to Finish.

  5. Open Applications and Get Started with Office.

  2. Required storage within disk space to install it.

Resolve Office Activation

Uninstall Office from Windows

  1. Go to Start > Control Panel.

  2. Now Open Add or Remove Programs.

  3. Select Office and Click Change/Uninstall.

  4. A Prompt will Appear, Accept that and Follow the on-screen guide.

Removing Office from Mac

  1. Go to Finder > Applications.

  2. Select all your Office Apps.

  3. Move all the selected apps to Trash.

  4. Now Empty Trash and you have removed Office. You can use third party cleaner apps too.

How to create new Office Account

Follow steps on how to create a new Office account.

  1. Go to account.microsoft.com.

  2. Click on Create a new Microsoft Account.

  3. If you already have an email id with any other email service enter that or click on Get a new email address. You can use your Phone too.

  4. Now, Create a Password for your Microsoft Account. Always remember your Password.

  5. If you signed up with your own email id, Verify that or continue with your new Account.


How to turn On recurring Billing for Office

  1. Go to office.com/myaccount.

  2. Now go to Subscriptions > Your Office Subscription.

  3. Click on Manage > Billing.

  4. Now on the Recurring Billing, turn the option off.

How to Renew Office Subscription

  1. Go to www.office.com/renew.

  2. Now sign in to your Microsoft Office account (Account that you use to Sign in for Office).

  3. Select the subscription you want to renew.

  4. Click on Renew Now > Pay Now.

  5. Select your Renewal Period.

  6. Make Payment.

You have successfully renewed your Office subscription. Office subscriptions are available monthly and yearly.

How to change payment method for Office 365

  1. Go to admin.microsoft.com.

  2. Now go to Billing > Payment Methods.

  3. You can Edit your existing payment method by clicking on it.

  4. To add, click on Add a new Payment Method.

  5. Enter Details and Click add.

You have successfully added a new payment method to your office subscription. This applies to any plans except for Prepaid plans.

How to switch from GSUITE to Office 365

  1. Sign up with Office 365.

  2. Setup Office 365 apps.

  3. Move Files from GSuite.

  4. Connect your Email Id and Domain.

  5. Cancel your GSuite Subscription.

  6. Set up Devices and Teams(users).

You can download Office application on any of your tablet or smartphone with iOS or Android OS.

  1. Go to App Store.

  2. Search for Office and download it.
