Talk about an event that happened early in your life that affected the rest of your life in a significant way.  How would your life be different now if it had happened differently?   Use the conditional. 

EXAMPLE:  When I was 23 I crashed my car.  After that I decided not to drive again, or to own a car.  If i had not crashed my car, maybe I would still be driving.  Maybe I would own a car and drive to work.  Maybe I would be living far away from the center.  Maybe I would take more weekend road trips to different parts of Spain

Critique the photograph on an aesthetic basis.  Do you like the image?  Why?/Why not?  Does the image make a strong impact?  Does it have a good composition of elements?  Would you hang the picture on your wall? Would you buy it as a piece of art?  How is it, in terms of contrast, brightness, color, focal point, clarity, narrative elements, etc?

Answer a few of the following questions:

Who is in the picture?
Who took the picture?
Who would you show this picture to? (to whom would show this picture?)
What is happening in the picture?
What is missing from the picture?
What would you add to the image?
What would you take out of the image?
What mood does the image transmit?
What is the focal point of the image?
What does the picture mean, overall?  (what is its core message?)
What does the image make you think of?  (what does the image inspire you to think?)
Where was the picture taken?
Where might you see an image like this?
Where was the photographer in relation to the subjects in the image? or one subject irt the other
Where is the focus of the picture?  (Where in the image are we directed to look?)
Why are the subjects / elements arranged as they are?
Why did the photographer take this picture?
Do you like this image?  Why or why not?
When (at what time of day, month, year) was this picture taken?
How was the picture taken?
How does the picture make you feel?
How many objects/elements (roughly) do you count in the picture?
How long does the picture keep your attention?
How would you describe the picture in a word // tagline?
Does the picture serve more an aesthetic or journalistic purpose?
Does the image make you feel good or bad, or neutral?
Does the image have enough contrast?  Would it be better with more or less?
Is the image balanced from left to right, from top to bottom?  Does it have symmetry?
Does the image have enough color, or is it dull?  Is the image detailed, or blurry/soft?
