Veruca Salt - demanding bratty girl who wants every she sees - father bought tons of boxes in order to find the ticket. 
Augustus Gloop - fat kid from from Dusseldorf Germany - foumd the ticket eating a lot of chocolate
Violet Beauregarde - gum chewing champion, rude and self-centered
Mike Teavee - watches a lot of TV.  he's smart and he figured out a matmatical equation to find the ticket.
Charlie - poor, kind-hearted, lives with his parents and grandparents in a small poor house. 

What happens to each of them? 
Veruca Salt falls into a hole after wanting a squirrel.
Augustus Gloop - falls into a chocolate river
Violet Beauregarde - turns into a blueberry, from a stick of gum that is supposed to be a whole meal.
