Consider these debate questions.   Pick a side and defend your position.  

*Climate change is a serious problem and requires that we stop burning all oil and coal now, even if it means societal disruption.  

*Anti-tobacco laws should be more strictly enforced and expanded to include all public places including parks.  

*Children under 16 years of age should not be allowed to get tattoos or piercings.

*Consumers should always be given more information about their food and other products and services in order to make better, more informed decisions.  (ex:  before buying a plane ticket, you should be informed of the type of aircraft that will be used / Boeing 737 MAX 8)

*People should be allowed to vote starting at age 16. 

*There is no age too young for consentual sex among two people of the same age.  

*All public schools in Spain, including preschool and primaria, should be bilingual English-Spanish schools so that children learn the language from the earliest age.  

*The internet is a necessary tool for humanity and will ultimately be of benefit, rather than detriment, to society.  / or /  the internet is negatively influencing society and humanity.  

*la "Huelga Feminista" (8M) is a good and necessary demonstration in order to achieve gender equality in society / or / is unnecessary and  detracts from gender equality 

*Animal testing is a necessary evil.  There is no realistic alternative.   / or / Animal testing is cruel and should be stopped.

*Hate speech should be punishable with jail time / or / hate speech is part of free speech and should protected as such. 

*Given the budgetary concerns of the Spanish government, public healthcare should be limited to citizens and restricted from residents, tourists, and migrant workers.
