If you want a reliable, high-penetration bulb to replace your factory fog lights for safer driving in poor weather, choose SWQS PSX24W; if you need a unique rear projection light that adds personality and a specific laser warning pattern to your vehicle's back end, choose YAWUROU 12V.
These two products sit on opposite ends of the automotive lighting spectrum. One is a direct replacement part designed for function and visibility, while the other is an aftermarket accessory focused on aesthetics and a specific type of visual alert. You cannot swap them; they serve entirely different purposes on your car. Understanding this distinction is the only way to avoid buying the wrong item for your specific needs.
• SWQS PSX24W: Strength lies in its 4300K golden light that cuts through rain, snow, and fog with superior clarity; trade-off is it offers no custom patterns or aesthetic flair, just pure utility.
• YAWUROU 12V: Strength is its ability to project customizable shapes like hearts or skulls onto the ground to stand out; trade-off is it lacks the raw penetration power needed to light up the road ahead in dense weather.
• Buy SWQS PSX24W if you are replacing a blown-out fog lamp or DRL bulb and need standard illumination for dash cam footage or night driving.
• Buy YAWUROU 12V if you own a truck, SUV, or motorcycle and want to add a personalized rear warning light that projects a specific design.
The SWQS PSX24W is built for drivers who prioritize safety and visibility above all else. This isn't a flashy gadget; it is a robust halogen bulb designed to be a direct replacement for standard 2504 or PSX24W sockets. Its primary engineering goal is clear: to provide a warm white light at 4300K that performs better than standard white bulbs in adverse conditions. The 24-watt power rating paired with the quartz glass construction creates a beam that is bright yet soft enough to reduce glare, which is critical when you are trying to see the road edges during a heavy downpour or a blizzard.
This product fits anyone driving Japanese, American, or European vehicles who has lost their original fog light or daytime running light functionality. The UV-resistant quartz glass and heat-resistant metal base are not marketing fluff; they indicate a build intended to withstand the vibration and thermal stress of a real-world driving environment. If you are looking for a bulb that plugs directly into your existing housing without needing any wiring modifications or polarity checks, this is the solution. It is strictly functional hardware meant to restore your vehicle's lighting system to full operational status.

You should skip this bulb if you are looking for something that changes the look of your car. There are no LEDs here, no colorful projections, and no "cool factor." It produces a standard warm white light that blends seamlessly with most factory setups. If your goal is to make your car look distinctive from the outside or to project a symbol onto the pavement, this unit will do nothing for you. It is also not suitable for headlights requiring high-beam performance; it is specifically calibrated for fog, auxiliary, and daytime running applications where penetration matters more than raw brightness.
The YAWUROU 12V serves a completely different demographic: owners who want to personalize their vehicle's rear profile while adding a layer of situational awareness. This is a laser warning light, not a standard illuminator. It projects one of three distinct patterns—Heart Arrow, Star, or Skull—onto the ground behind the vehicle. This feature transforms a mundane taillight setup into a statement piece that reflects the driver's personality. The 12-volt high-power laser bead ensures the projection remains visible even in low-light conditions, fog, or rain, making it an effective tool for alerting following traffic to your presence.
This device is ideal for truck owners, SUV drivers, and motorcycle enthusiasts who frequently drive in areas where being seen is crucial but who also value style. The adjustable bracket allows you to rotate the projection angle freely, meaning you can fine-tune the position to avoid glaring into the eyes of oncoming drivers or to ensure the pattern lands clearly on your bumper or the road surface. The aluminum outer casing and waterproof glue sealing suggest a rugged design capable of handling the dust, water, and road vibrations typical of off-road or highway driving. It is a plug-and-play addition that requires no complex modification to your vehicle's bodywork.
However, this product is not for everyone. If you are driving a standard sedan and need a replacement for a broken factory fog light, this unit will not work. It does not illuminate the road ahead; it projects a static image behind the car. It is also not a primary safety light like a brake light or turn signal; it is an auxiliary warning device. If your priority is simply restoring the stock appearance of your car or maximizing forward visibility in thick fog, this laser projector will fall short of those specific goals. It is an accessory for those who already have functional lighting and want to enhance their rear visibility with a unique touch.
• Best for road illumination and safety → SWQS PSX24W, because its 4300K halogen technology is engineered specifically to cut through rain, snow, and dust.
• Best for customization and style → YAWUROU 12V, as it offers three distinct projection patterns (Heart Arrow, Star, Skull) to showcase personal taste.
• Best for direct replacement → SWQS PSX24W, since it fits standard 2504/PSX24W sockets and requires no tools or wiring adjustments.
• Best for rear warning and visibility → YAWUROU 12V, utilizing a high-brightness laser to create a visible ground projection that alerts following vehicles.
• Best for durability in harsh weather → Both are strong, but SWQS uses quartz glass for heat resistance, while YAWUROU relies on aluminum casing and waterproof sealing.
• Best for motorcycles and trucks → YAWUROU 12V, due to its universal fit and compact mounting structure suited for these vehicle types.
• Best for dash cams in poor weather → SWQS PSX24W, providing the consistent, penetrating light necessary for clear video recording in fog or rain.
• Best for avoiding glare → YAWUROU 12V, thanks to the adjustable bracket that lets you aim the projection away from oncoming traffic.
In my opinion, the SWQS PSX24W is the smarter purchase for the vast majority of drivers, especially those using dash cams for documentation and safety. While the YAWUROU 12V is undeniably cool for tailgating or showing off, it does not solve a fundamental problem like a missing or dim fog light. The SWQS bulb restores your vehicle's ability to see and be seen in dangerous weather conditions, which is the primary job of a fog light. I would buy the SWQS PSX24W to ensure my dash cam captures clear footage during a storm, whereas the YAWUROU feels like a nice-to-have accessory that doesn't address core safety needs.
It is designed specifically for the PSX24W/2504 socket model and fits many Japanese, American, and European brands, but you must verify your vehicle's bulb size before purchasing.
Yes, it features a durable aluminum casing sealed with waterproof glue, ensuring it remains functional and protected against rain, dust, and road vibrations.
Absolutely, the unit comes with a flexible adjustable bracket that allows you to rotate the laser head to avoid glare and position the pattern exactly where you want it.
The SWQS PSX24W is superior for forward visibility in fog because its 4300K golden light is engineered to penetrate moisture and dust much better than standard white light.
