Syukri Arabi is the Manager for the STEM & Digital Unit in Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Sarawak (TEGAS), a charitable trust under the Sarawak State government dedicated to promoting Digital Innovation and Entrepreneurship amongst Sarawakian youth. He has been managing many high-impact STEM, Robotics, and Digital Literacy-related events and programs. Some of the iconic programs include STEM Playground, Drone & Robotics Explore (DROBOTEX), Community Innovation Literacy, Think & Tinker Mini Lab and many more.

He is also actively involved in local drone racing and makers community in Sarawak. He has actively shared and promoted his passion for drone technology through various events and television programs. He believed that drone technology can be beneficial in many areas and will become part of our future lives.

Before joining TEGAS, he was a freelance graphic designer and web developer. He joined the first and second Startup Weekend Kuching back in 2015 and 2016, and his team won the first runner up place, respectively. Through this event, he has gained much knowledge in turning ideas into viable products and made many new friends and mentors. He believed that Sarawak would be able to produce and become home to a lot of tech talent in the digital space one day.
