In-Person Mentor

Lucille anak Awen Jon is an entrepreneur, jewelry designer, indigenous women and cultural craft activist. A passion to preserve Bidayuh-Jagoi heritage arts and crafts has made Lucille who she is today. In 2014 she launched her brand Pangieh Ranee, which means “the queen of necklace”, and in 2017 co-founded Pungu Borneo, which focuses on creative collaboration and bringing back traditional Bidayuh crafts to daily usage. She was honoured as a Sarawakian Young Master by the World Craft Council APAC in 2019 and has since received awards for outstanding contribution to Sarawak cultural heritage.
