SERUM
Audrey co-founded a social enterprise which provides supplies that empower the communities in need in Malaysia during the COVID-19 pandemic in Year 2020. The team works closely with the refugee artisans that seek refuge in Malaysia to create products like reusable face masks and sanitary pads. This initiative had empowered the refugee artisans economically and provided equal accessibility to the beneficiary communities.
Since then, the enterprise provides impacts to more than 30,000 beneficiaries, ranging from refugees to urban poor, rural poor, differently-abled, single mothers and many more. The team has partnered with 23 NGOs, 2 corporates and 6 SMEs , upskilled and partnered with more than 120 youths from 5 countries via the Fundraising From Home program. Furthermore, SERUM helped reopen 5 working centers for refugee workers and 4 learning centers for refugee children. SERUM is recognised as Top 10 national business heroes by Tesco Malaysia and Top 10 in the Unite to Fight Covid-19 Startup Weekend in Malaysia.
In her other life, Audrey specializes in marketing for a financial technology company, BigPay. She is responsible for defining and executing marketing strategies for the Malaysian market where she builds growth strategies for BigPay’s key products, accelerating penetration and increasing product usage.
