Afiq Mohammed is the Lead Business Counsellor at Shell LiveWIRE Brunei. He mainly focuses on supporting the students with entrepreneurship through mentorships, workshops, and programmes. These programmes are Bright Ideas and Business Plan Series which will guide students that are both aspiring to be entrepreneurs or those already running their own business. He also facilitates LiveWIRE Masterclass workshops and hackathons that covers various topics such as Design Thinking, Improv to Ideation and Energy Solutions.

On the side, he also is the founder to EICO, an ecosystem builder that facilitates entrepreneurship contents and projects which includes Startup Weekend Brunei, ASEAN Rice Bowl Startup Awards, and formerly, Google Developers Group Brunei. His scope mostly covers project management, business development and creative.

Afiq worked at The Creative Core BN as the Lead in Creative and Tech. In 2018, he was also nominated as the US Embassy’s YSEALI Profellow Fall 2018 under Economic Empowerment where he was placed in San Diego, California. In 2019, Afiq was an alumnus under the ASEAN Foundation’s Empowering Youth programme where he was based in Takeo, Cambodia to work with women silk weaver’s community from Color Silk who exports premium silk to US , Japan and France.
