SwissBG ("the app") is a tournament management app for organising Swiss-style backgammon tournaments. This policy explains how the app handles information.
Information we collect: SwissBG does not collect any personal information. The app does not require sign-in or an account. The tournament you are running (player names, ratings, pairings and results) is saved only on your device so it is still there if you close the app. It is never sent to us or to any server we control.
Loading players: When you tap "Fetch Players", the app downloads your club's public ratings list from the ANZBGF results website (results.anzbgf.org) through a simple relay service. Only the address of the public ratings page is requested; nothing about you or your device is stored or tracked.
Third-party services: The app does not use analytics tools, advertising networks, or any third-party software development kits that collect or share data. We do not track your activity within the app or across other apps and websites.
Data sharing: Because no data is collected, there is nothing for us to share, sell, or disclose to third parties. If you choose to share results (for example to WhatsApp) or export a CSV file, that is done by you through your device's own share options.
Children's privacy: The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Deleting your data: Tap "New Tournament" in the app to clear the current tournament, or delete the app to remove all of its data from your device.
Price: SwissBG is free to download and has no in-app purchases or ads.
Changes to this policy: If this policy changes, an updated version will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date.
Contact: If you have questions about this privacy policy or need help with the app, contact us at sashasenica@gmail.com.
