Workshop Overview
Smart Web-powered Intelligence for Farm Technology and AGriculture (SWIFT-AG) workshop serves as a central hub for bridging the gap between the Web’s vast potential and the practical needs of smart agriculture. Positioned within the broader spectrum of decision analytics, this workshop encapsulates the convergence of advanced Web technologies (IoT, Cloud, big data, etc.) and agricultural practices to enhance decision-making processes in the agricultural domain.
Objective of the Workshop
The primary objective of the SWIFT-AG workshop is to facilitate a comprehensive understanding and practical exploration of how the Web can be harnessed to enhance decision support systems in smart agriculture. The workshop aims to bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and real-world applications, fostering research endeavors spanning the domains of Internet of Things (IoT), drones, smart remote sensing, computer imaging, semantic data, data analysis, as well as machine learning and deep learning within the context of smart agriculture. Some of the key topics relevant to workshop contributions (but are not limited to):
• Web technologies for smart agriculture (cloud systems, IoT for data collection and analysis)
• Semantic Web technologies for smart agriculture
• AI-based Precision irrigation decision system
• AI-based Fertilization decision system
• AI-based early disease detection
• Machine learning and deep learning models for smart agriculture
• Blockchain-based solution for smart agriculture
