STOP, the Southwest Florida Task Force on Overdose Prevention, is a collaborative network of partners whose mission is the reduction of substance use disorder across Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry, Lee, and Sarasota Counties. With a focus on prevention, intervention, and recovery, the task force is comprised of an interdisciplinary group of partners throughout the care continuum, including educators, medical professionals, faith-based organizations, law enforcement, and public officials. With all six counties working together and an array of partners at the table, we will be able to implement robust, evidence-based interventions to expand access to and strengthen the quality of substance use disorder prevention, treatment, and recovery services in Southwest Florida.
