To function properly, Sweatflix requires specific iOS permissions. These permissions are used solely for the app's core functionality:
HealthKit (Apple Health): Used to read your "Active Energy Burned" (calories) for the current day. This data is required to calculate and "earn" your additional screen time. We do not read any other health data.
Screen Time (Family Controls): Used to manage app blocking and monitor your daily screen time usage. This allows the app to restrict access once your available time is exhausted.
3. Data Usage and Protection
All data processed by Sweatflix is handled with the following protections:
On-Device Processing: Your calorie data and screen time statistics are processed entirely on your iPhone.
No Data Transmission: We never transmit your health or usage data off your device. We do not have servers that store your personal information.
Third-Party Sharing: We do not share your data with third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.
User Control: You can revoke HealthKit or Screen Time access at any time through the iOS System Settings.
4. Data Retention
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it:
Uninstalling the app will remove all locally stored settings and progress data.
The app does not maintain any persistent backups in the cloud.
