Short Biography

Dr. Swati Gupta is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at The NorthCap University, Gurugram, India. With a robust academic background and a passion for Cloud Computing, she has made significant strides in both teaching and research.

Dr. Gupta earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) in 2023, specializing in scheduling in cloud computing. She also holds an M.E. from Thapar University and a B.Tech. (Hons.) from Kurukshetra University, reflecting her consistent academic excellence.

Her research work is widely recognized, with publications in top-tier journals and conferences. Notable among these are her works on multi-objective task scheduling and workflow scheduling in cloud environments, published in journals such as Simulation Modelling Practice and Theory and Concurrency and Computation: Practice and Experience. Dr. Gupta has also contributed to book chapters and holds patents, including innovations in fraud detection and smart aquaculture systems.

As an educator, Dr. Gupta is dedicated to fostering knowledge and skills in her students. She has developed digital courses and coordinated various academic and extracurricular events at The NorthCap University.
