WELCOME!
I am so excited to be back for season 2023 and am equally as keen to work with the modified rules umpires again. This year there I am trialling a new way of running things for mods in order to let you focus equally on your other disciplines. The first change is that I've made this little website as a place for you to go to for any resources you might need or to review a concept/catch up if you missed training. I don't want umpiring to become like school with homework so any catch up or extra work is entirely up to you! Be sure to let me know if you need or want to see anything uploaded onto here and I will see what I can find.
That's all for now. See you at training!

AS A MODS UMPIRE
1) Read the AFL Law book (located under the Rules section of this website)
2) Read the modified rules flow charts for the age group you will be umpiring. If something isn't mentioned in the modified rules, we refer BACK to the AFL laws.
3) Have a read through the WAFC Policies page of this website, there you will find the policies that directly affect the modified rules competition. These are taken from a larger document and I'd encourage you to read through the whole document if you have time, but these are the specific ones you should be on top of.
4) If you aren't on Officials HQ, Chat to Nick and/or Oli at training
5) If you have any other questions, feel free to ask Cass at training
Have a question about your umpiring, training, or in general - email - modified_rules_coach@swansumpires.org.au
Have a friend who wants to come down? - email - recruitment@swansumpries.org.au
Have a problem on game day? Contact your mentor.
If you can't get through to your mentor/match day coach - Phone Cass - 0478413636 (leave a message with your name/situation if I don't answer)
Just want to have a chat? Cass will be at training from 5:30pm on Wednesdays. Send an email through so I know that you want to chat and I'll make sure I'm there.
