Students will investigate physical/chemical restraints on all biological relationships and systems. They will discuss cyclic fluctuations around a state of rough equilibrium; address misconceptions of population growth capacity; and interspecies and intra-species competition for resources.

Activity

• During the presentation, play a quiz game addressing common ecological misconceptions. Students listen to others' answers then try to form a more accurate, concise answer. Discuss topics.
  

• Play the class Challenge Round and work together to answer multiple choice quiz questions. Discuss answers.
  

• Schedule a follow up virtual Q&A with your county educator to answer further student questions!
