In this lesson students will be introduced to beavers; experiment with the way they change the environment; learn about keystone species and learn why they are important.

Clay or play dough
Twigs or popsicle sticks
Small rocks or marbles
A book or some lego blocks to prop your container up at one end.
Water
Paper towels or proper towels in case you spill water
