FAQ

My students want to learn more. How can I schedule a program?

Contact your local SWCD educator to schedule a virtual program. If you do not live within our four county region, we are sorry but we are unable to provide virtual programming. Please contact your local SWCD educator to learn more about programs available near you.

What virtual program options are available?

Educators are able to provide a wide range of virtual programs based on your classroom needs. Potential virtual programs may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Q&A session after a lesson page has been presented

  • demonstration of stream table, erosion table, etc.

  • guided activities

  • in depth exploration of content provided on lesson page

Not all educators are able to teach content for all lesson themes or grade bands. Since this is a collaboration between four counties, it is a compilation of the programs we all offer. For example, Butler County is unable to provide virtual programs for Kindergarten classes and Hamilton County is unable to teach beaver lessons at this time.

Contact your local SWCD educator to learn more about virtual programs.

I want an educator to come to my classroom. How can I schedule a program?

Each county has their own procedure for teaching in person programs. Program requests will be considered on a case by case basis.

Contact your local SWCD educator to learn more about their program availability.

Clermont County: Until January 1, 2021, in person programs are not available in Clermont County.
