S01E01 DAWN OF THE RANGERS
Location: Vandor
IMPERIALS ARE EVACUATING VANDOR!
Vandor is a cold planet with extensive snowy, mountainous regions.
Summoned by the Intelligence Agent Tailgunner, the crew of the YT-2000 freighter Rough Profits travel to Vandor, almost colliding with a host of leaving Imperial ships, including one Gozanti-class transport. Soon, they land at the Ranger base at Karkbreath Peak.
Apparently, Tailgunner has discovered that the Imps has planted experimental nerve agent throughout cities on Vandor that could kill its people immediately.
Captain Kin Asa Goddard the smuggler, Zor Draco the former TIE pilot, minor Jedi Ordan Vallas (with his astromech droid Arfour-Threetee) and bounty hunter Gev Dyson have been tasked with retrieving an Imperial prisoner on Elshandruu Pica, a Tiss'Shar named Dr. Ver-Tho-Ree, who created both the nerve agent and its antidote.
Tailgunner assigns the fomer Imperial security droid K3LP to aid their mission. They need the antidote before the hidden nerve agents are deployed. She would have sent her task force Blue Swifts but they were recently killed in battle.
They board Goddard's freighter. Zor makes the astrogation calculation and some time after the Rough Profits drops out of hyperspace at Elshandruu Pica.
Location: Elshandruu Pica
Elshandruu Pica is a lush, verdant world with vast oceans and islands. It is apopular tourist destination.
They make a beeline for Ghest River, a city where the Imps would be bringing Dr. Ver-Tho-Ree aboard a unirail (a conveyex-like conveyance) to be taken to the Imperial Security Bureau facility on the island of Ollitavalam.
Fast talking their way past traffic control, they make it to the beach city between Ghest River and the island, and sneak past the local security to wait for the unirail where an angry crowd was prevented from boarding the next train. There is a strong feeling in the Force that is calling to Ordan from the moving train as they sneak past the harangued security onto the empty unirail station platform.
As the train approaches the station, an ISB agent exits the station toilet. Gev shoots up the toilet. Security and the angry crowd rushes in. Everyone jumps aboard the train... except for Goddard, who trusted in the Force... and makes it aboard. Before ISB Agent Savastri could alert his compatriots on the train, the crowd surge pushes him off the platform with a Wilhelm scream.
Gev and Ordan are at the back of the train, and move forward. Something on the train, in the luggage coach is calling out to Ordan. He ignores it as there are other pressing matters.
On the rear patio of the luxury coach, Zor finds the door locked... and fires at it. The door opens, and six Imperial stormtroopers are holding Dr. Ver-Tho-Ree there. They point their SE-14 blasters at Zor and Goddard. With Gev and Ordan still far behind, there is nothing they could do.
So Zor says, "Doctor, drop to the floor!"

S01E02 THE NERVE OF THESE IMPERIALS
Location: Elshandruu Pica
The crew of the YT-2000 freighter Rough Profits travel Elshandruu Pica from Vandor. Captain Kin Asa Goddard, Former Imperial Captain Zor Draco, Minor Jedi Ordan Vallas and Bounty Hunter Gev Dyson have to extract Imperial Tiss'Shar prisoner Dr. Ver-Tho-Ree, who the Republic needs to formulate an anti-nerve agent.
As K3LP is pacing the Unirail in the Rough Profits over the seas of Elshandruu Pica, Zor & Goddard face off 6 stormtroopers and their prisoner. Gev runs forward, but Ordan is compelled to return aft to the cargo coach.
There is a firefight where Zor and Goddard safely takes cover beside the door frame on the open-air rear landing but their fire only wounds the stormtroopers in the luxury coach.
Gev shows up late and blasts some of the troopers. A trooper tries to stun the good doctor, but Zor puts a hole in him allowing the doctor to jump out into the landing. Meanwhile, Goddard finds a way to force an emergency brake.
Meanwhile, Ordan finds a blue crystal in a secured Imperial crate and puts it in his non-functioning lightsaber. He runs forward but all the Imps are down, save one. The survivor activates SECURITY OMEGA and three DT security droids come through a forward hatch in the coach.
Goddard warns everyone, fires at the cable below the coach, triggering the emergency brakes. Everyone holds one as the Unirail comes to a stop. The droids are thrown backwards into their hidden compartment.
They call K3LP on the Rough Profits who comes in for an extraction. The lead droid fires at Ordan who calls on the Force to deflect the bolt back at it. But it is stunned, but is not hurt. Everyone is impressed at the use of the Force.
They all jump aboard the Profits, but a crowd tries to pull Ordan by his robes. Zor tries to stun a rich guy but misses. The droid stomps out of the cabin, scaring everyone who let go of Ordan.
It turns to fire at the Jedi but misses. The Profits takes off and heads for Vandor where Dr. Ver-Tho-Ree leads the effort to neutralise the deadly Imperial nerve agent.
Location: VANDOR
Agent Tailgunner offers them a job as roving peacekeepers in the Outer Rim for the New Republic, and they accept.

S01E03 VOYAGE OF THE FICKLE CLEMENCY
Location: Vandor
The new team of New Republic Rangers are settling down on the Karkbreath Peak mountain base on Vandor.
Their Ops Officer is the New Republic intelligence Major Tailgunner. At the moment, Goddard & his YT-2000 ship Rough Profits are away on a Ranger mission. The remaining three Rangers are ordered to the Hetzal system to steal an Imperial Gozanti-class transport along with new member Pac Vesme, a Hetzal-born former SpecForce Urban Combat Specialist. Agent Sandsmurch McPing, their informant on Hetzal reported a Gozanti stored in a abandoned city covered in toxic gases.
Tailgunner books passage for the team to travel to Hetzal on the Fickle Clemency, a dirty & decrepit HT-2200 captained by a Shistavanen named G'morque.
The ship rocks violently during its 20-hour hyperspace journey. Pac -- feeling sick -- needs to use the 'fresher & found a disgusting cesspit. He almost throws up. Almost.
Suddenly, G'morque & her R2 unit arrive to serve them food. Pac almost said no, but they are served fresh Chandrilan squall tendermeat, pickled blackbeak eggs with Neonan red cheese, Corellian ryshcate as dessert pastry, & three meiloorun-flavoured fizzyglug jugs.
The Rangers eat well and are refreshed. They graciously thank their host.
Location: Hetzal Prime
The Fickle Clemency arrive in the Hetzal system and fly past some abandoned orbital structures including a hyperspace booster ring park. Hetzal Prime is mostly an agricultural planet.
They are deployed 100 km away from their area of interest: the toxic town of Par Mabis. After the Fickle Clemency takes off, a lime green, convertible civilian-modified Uulshos Chariot speeder approaches them. They prep for engagement
But the driver is an elderly human lady who identifies herself as Mrs. Stassie McPing - mother of Agent Sandsmurch McPing - who was killed by a passing speeder truck when he was transmitting the Gozanti information to Vandor. She has promised to finish his son's mission.
Mrs. McPing recognises Pac who is also a Hetzal native. She knows his family.
An insectoid kinrath charges at them from the treeline. Thankfully, a volley of blaster fire from Zor Draco, Gev Dyson & Pac Vesme stop it dead in its charge. Ordan Vallas' lightsaber does not see action. Then they all board her LAV & head for Par Mabis in the poisoned Nuqqas Valley.
Suddenly, Mrs. McPing reveals her rage towards the former Imperial Prefect Tanus Draco and his kin, holding up & showing off her E-22 blaster rifle.
Captain-Supervisor Zor Draco's eyes slowly went wide upon hearing this.

S01E04 THE DEADLY DEATH FOG OF DOOM
Location: Hetzal Prime
On the planet Hetzal, the New Republic Rangers' guide old Mrs Stassie McPing almost crashes the Chariot speeder into a tree when she wants to distribute gear. Zor Draco - the former TIE pilot - takes control. But then she gets a heart attack during a dramatic speech. They pull over.
Ordan Vallas uses the Force to heal McPing, but she needs proper medical aid. The former SpecForce Pac Vesme would alone drives her to the medical centre in nearby community of Sōpē Jīvana with the Chariot speeder.
Donning their NBC suits, the team advances on foot to the toxin-filled Nuqqas Valley and the mining town of Par Mabis to steal the abandoned Gozanti-class transport stored there. They hide when a huge kinrath - unaffected by the toxin - trundles by, looking for food in the outskirts. There are many unattended corpses in the streets.
Close to the walled Imperial base, they sneak past a major kinrath hive that R4 scanned. They then see an Imperial Mu-3 shuttle landing on the Gozanti warehouse roof, deploying 3 squads of radtroopers. Two squads are in the Gozanti warehouse. Another heads for a TIE-cockpit filled warehouse.
They need a distraction. Bounty hunter Gev Dyson is it. As Ordan & R4 sneak closer, Gev throws a grenade in main street. All Imps but two flood out of derelict base to investigate the blast.
Meanwhile, Zor shoots one guard & Ordan skewers another with his lightsaber. Gev then runs back while streets outside are filled with searching radtroopers. They rush into the warehouse.
But the radtroopers spot Gev, who holds at the warehouse door & returns fire at the incoming mass of troops. Zor & Ordan storm the Gozanti. Ordan swiftly slices Imp pilots on the flight deck, then Zor calls Gev in.
Gev sees the radtroopers' new peril. The firefight triggered the kinrath nest. 2-3m tall insectoid tree stumps cut through the Imps like grass! They vainly turn their fire on the bugs. Gev safely aboard, Zor flies them all out of the warehouse knocking the Mu shuttle off the roof.
They pick up Pac outside Sōpē Jīvana as Gev turns off the ship's homing beacon. Then they all head back to Vandor together with their new Gozanti-class cruiser which they name the Rabid Kinrath.

S01E05 X MARKS THE GALLEON
Location: Vandor
With former SpecForce urban combat specialist Pac Vesme off on a solo mission, the new Republic Rangers, Force wielder Ordan Vallas, bounty hunter Gev Dyson & former TIE pilot Zor Draco are given a datapad to track cargo module SG2055B jettisoned from Imperial Star Galleon Perpetuity. It carries 4 Incom T-65B X-wings bound for Bextar in the Velcar Sector.
As their newly-commandeered Gozanti-class transport Rabid Kinrath is under repairs, Tailgunner gives them the Insolent Imp, an Incom A-24 Sleuth scout. Ordan's astromech Arfour tracks the cargo module's next random jump destination to the Riflorii system.
Location: Riflor
But the pirate Nebulon B frigate Dank Noumenon also has the same information & jumps in to steal it. SG2055B drops between them, but closer to the Imp. With pirates shooting at them, Zor docks the Imp's modified boarding collar, allowing entry. As they rush in, pirate Zebra fighters' cannon fire disintegrate the Imp. Atmosphere breach! Zor & Gev use their cable shooters to save Arfour before he is sucked out to space.
Further exploring deeper into SG2055B, they discover none other than their teammate Pac Vesme. The former SpecForce Urban Combat Specialist is badly injured & trying to hotwire the cargo module's hyperdrive. It was Pac who informed Tailgunner how to locate SG2055B. Ordan uses the Force to heal Pac then together, they rush for the X-wings.
A pirate Skipray Blastboat blocks the launch bay exit, but Zor & Gev blast it to pieces with their KX9 cannons, allowing all four X-wings to be launched into space. Zor & Gev cover Ordan and Pac, succeed fighting off three Zebras as flak bursts from the pirate frigate tear up the space around them. Trusting the Force, Ordan's long distance shot takes out the Dank Noumenon's forward cannon blister.
Then Arfour his calculations complete, links all the fighters' navicomputers & makes the jump to lightspeed.
The Rangers safely make it back to Vandor with their bounty.

S01E06 A PEACEFUL VACATION BEGINS
Location: Vandor
After their successful X-wing retrieval mission, Rangers Zor Draco, Gev Dyson & Ordan Vallas are given a 5-day break. Pac Vesme is sent to the infirmary. As the Rabid Kinrath & the four X-wings are being upgraded, crew chief Wodonee assigns them an old Nu-class shuttle for their personal use. Gev renames it the Senator Binks before heading off to Coruscant to visit Ordan's parents.
En route Mrs. Stassie McPing of Hetzal calls via holo. She claims to discover that her son was murdered & it was not an accident. She is now on the run. Zor sets a meeting with her on Coruscant.
Location: Coruscant
The Binks set down in the Shooting Gallery district deep on ground level landing by an artifical river beside a cafe. They pay a GE-3 droid to tend to the Binks. As they pass the cafe, bounty hunter Moxin Tark calls out Gev, claiming he hijacked Tark's 18,000 bounty 2 years ago. Ordan tries but fails to flank them.
He challenges Gev to a gunfight. McPing buzzes Zor's comlink: she's arrived & is waiting at the Core Diadem Complex nearby. The comm distracts the gunfighters, they fire and hit each other. Gev's bolt glances off Tark's armour. Tark's hits Gev's midsection. Gev falls.
Ordan rushes to transfer Force but fails. Though Gev has a burnt stomach, he can still walk. The other hunters stand down, satisfied. The team rushes to McPing who calls saying she's under attack.
They talk their way through a horde of drunken sports fans -- GO BORCATUS! -- and succeed in reaching the turbolift! Zor & Arfour approach the concierge droid at the hotel atrium. Ordan senses McPing next level up. He & Gev rush up the stairs.
TC-550 the protocol droid at the reception station draws a blaster. Zor crouches & hides, flanks him around the back and fires, damaging him. Then he wrestles a thermal detonator away from the droid. Arfour rolls into him, but TC shoots & stuns Zor. He looms over Arfour & Zor.
Ordan & Gev rush through McPing's open door, weapons ready. A speeder out the window is pulling away -- and a thermal detonator is rolling on the floor towards them. Ordan pushes Gev out the window & jumps out 7 floors up. They freefall, then the room explodes, showering fiery debris down. Ordan fires his ascension gun at the Complex wall, grabs Gev & swings down skilfully and safely onto the ground. They rush back in.
But then the ceiling over TC-550, R4 and Zor collapses!

S01E07 THE WAREHOUSE AT 1313
Location: Coruscant
Captain-Supervisor Zor Draco, bounty hunter Gev Dyson & Force warrior Ordan Vallas continue their vacation on Coruscant. But their former associate Stassie McPing calls for them just before being abducted at her hotel. The kidnappers' thermal detonator explodes & collapses the Core Diadem Complex upper levels. Zor & Arfour-Threetee try to find their way down from the hotel reception level but the floor falls. Both are unhurt, thankfully not falling into any animal holding pens in the pet store - especially the nearby juvenile rancor cage.
The team regroups below. Zor wants to hotwire a nearby Sorosuub RGC-18 speeder, but Ordan has called a taxi: an Aratech Arrow-23 speeder driven by a Red Nikto named Pangool. Arrow-23 trumps RGC18. Ordan fails to sense Mrs McPing, but recognises that the hostiles' speeder has the colours of the local Frenshing Gang.
Ordan directs Pangool up 2 levels to a warehouse on Level 1313. Zor & Ordan plan to recover McPing by talking to their boss Gopenk Frenshing.
Pangool takes off & will keep some distance between them, but he is prepared to come get them when called.
When Gev climbs up a crane tower, a Frenshing thug in the cab above aims at Gev, but former SpecForce Pac Vesme suddenly appears & shoots him from the 2nd crane tower.
Pac, their Ranger teammate, who arrived 10 minutes earlier, was also contacted by McPing, who told him that her son Sandsmurch's death was not a hit-and-run. Sandy discovered who he was working for & his handlers killed him for it. And now Pac's team is in danger too!
After a short standoff with armed thugs, the impoverished Frenshing comes out to meet them with his lieutenant, Tora Nuam. Tora is Ordan's ex-girlfriend who broke up with him when she thought he was cheating on her with a Togruta. After a standoff, Zor convinces Frenshing to let McPing go and promises that the New Republic will help them if they renounce crime.
Mrs McPing is released. Ordan senses extreme negative emotions from Tora. As Mrs McPing passes her, Tora shoots her in the chest with a DL-44 heavy blaster. Frenshing is surprised too. Before she dies, she implies that the team is unwittingly working for those who killed her son!

S01E08 A QUICK STOP AT THE BISCUIT BARON
Location: Coruscant
After her sudden assassination of Stassie McPing, Tora Nuam makes a break for it. Her ex-boyfriend Force warrior Ordan Vallas & former TIE pilot Zor Draco chase after her, but from a crane tower, bounty hunter Gev Dyson hits her with a stun bolt from his riot gun.
McPing's compatriot Pac Vesme the SpecForce Urban Combat Specialist -- a fellow Hetzal native -- is devastated. Then Ordan finds an encrypted datacard in Mrs. McPing's secret pocket. The team takes custody of McPing's body & Tora from the crime boss Gopenk Frenshing. The Rangers and the gang part ways in good faith.
As Pac trails them on his single-seater swoop, Pangool the Red Nikto cabbie drives them away from Level 1313; first for some food, then to meet a local Shistavanen slicer Ordan knows named Instro Zuun.
There is a Biscuit Baron beside the Bantha Burger at the Food Thoroughfare where they land, and an automat called OuteRiMaT. Gev buys Bantha Burger's Senator Jar Jar Binks kiddie toy as a gift for Instro Zuun. Tora wakes up but remains silent as they eat.
Upon arrival, Zuun recognises Ordan & welcomes them to his home near the Shooting Gallery riverside docks. He wipes his screensaver and tries to crack the datacard. However, he is unable to do it. Only the code writer may unlock this card.
Meanwhile, Ordan leaves to check up on Tora in the speeder. Pangool leaves Ordan to interrogate Tora within. What happened during the conversation is yet unknown.
In the slicer's apartment, Zor spots the personalised sigil of his cousin Tarn Draco of Atrisia - a slicer - in the encryption Zuun is trying to crack. Zuun thinks they should pay Tarn a visit. It was time for Zor to return to the Atrisian Commonwealth...

S01E09 THE LONG WAY HOME
Location: Coruscant
Upon leaving the slicer Instro Zuun's home at Level 1313, the Rangers asks cab driver Pangool to take them back up to Coruscant's surface. They decide to split up: Ordan Vallas & R4-3T will take the assassin Tora Nuam back to Vandor. Zor Draco & Gev Dyson will go to Kitel Phard to find Zor's cousin, the slicer Tarn Draco who might be able to decrypt Stassie McPing's datacard.
After Ordan departs on the Mu-class shuttle Senator Binks, Zor & Gev head to Exogorth's Folly, a no-frills spaceport tower & find the starliner Gem Fryer set to sail down Giju's Run towards Kitel Phard. As Gev is listening to a Karis Nemik audiobook, they spot a man following them who turn out to be a new Ranger named Pev Tekko, a tech who was ordered to join them by Agent Tailgunner from back on Vandor.
As his chain code & orders are legit, Zor & Gev agree to his inclusion to their team. Tailgunner does not appear to know about McPing's death & Tora's arrest. Upon buying a 300-credit ticket from a J9 drone, they board the run down Corellian MPO-1400 Purgill-class star cruiser Gem Fryer.
The Gem Fryer's extravagant and lavish staterooms have been converted into cargo compartments. Only the low-cost seating cabins remain for passengers.
Gev takes the window seat, Zor tries to sleep in the aisle seat while Pev sits between them with their gear stowed under their seats. The ship casts off...
Location: UNKNOWN
...and they wake up groggy some hours later where black-clad pirates are in the cabin up ahead holding the Givin co-pilot hostage with blasters. The other passengers are asleep. Gev snaps on his helmet & his head clears. A knockout gas! The Rangers slowly grab their weapons & listen in.
The pirates have two teams, a second team is unloading the transparisteel cargo from Sienar Fleet Systems. The Rangers decide not to act if the pirates harm no one. After over 10 minutes, the pirates withdraw, without any violence.
The Rangers leap to action, surprising the Givin co-pilot, who tell them he helped the pirates. The pirates are miner-colonists from planet Necropolis in the Dahrtag system who had been betrayed by the Empire then the New Republic. They were promised better colony-building materiel but reneged on the deal. Without the high-grade transparisteel their people will be detrimentally affected by the abrasive atmosphere there.
The co-pilot pleads that they arrest him instead of the miners-pirates. Gev spots two GR-75 medium transports pulling away from the Gem Fryer. Pev is about to call for Republic help when Zor tells him to stand down. They will allow the pirates to escape freely to help build a safer colony for them.
Location: UNKNOWN DAHRTAG
As the pilot & other passengers start to regain consciousness, the Givin thanks the Rangers & tells them the colony will remember what they have done & some day repay the deed with gratitude.
With that, the Gem Fryer makes one final jump from Dahrtag to Kitel Phard...

S01E10 PERILS OF BOUNTY HUNTING
Location: Kitel Phard (Atrisia)
The Rangers have arrived in the Atrisian Commonwealth!
Upon disembarking the Gem Fryer at the port of Uueghoan, Zor Draco, Gev Dyson and Pev Tekko embark on their mission to find Zor's cousin Tarn Draco in the Kitel Phard capital city of Jar'kai. At the security check, Customs Officer Doule allow them to pass, though Gev says he is on a legit bounty hunting job and he notices Zor's famous family name but is unable to identify which Draco he is. Zor has a reason to keep his head low.
As Pev is doing it, they all decide to keep receipts to claim later from their Ranger handler Tailgunner.
They board a speeder bus for 40 credits per ticket, flying east over the sea toward Jar'kai. En route, they notice a woman staring at them, talking to a comlink.
Upon landing at Jar'kai Bus Station, they deploy prepared. The woman follows them. Outside they spot a possible attacker. The man pulls a blaster on Gev, but Gev being faster punches his throat. He falls, and Gev keeps on kicking. Zor & Pev are surprised by this. The woman appears from the bus station gate enraged, draws a blaster and fires, the bolt harmlessly sparking off Gev's armour. Zor tries to talk her down, but in his haste, Pev knocks her gun away and fails. She turns to fire at Pev who twist away skillfully.
Zor gets through by telling her if they do not stop fighting, they will be arrested; and they need to get the man to a hospital. He knows of a free hospital in Emerald Row.
She agrees just as the Jar'kai Constabulary arrives. Zor leads them into alleys & derelict buildings to the old city. They hole up in an old grain warehouse. The woman, Nosoli Jarahm, and her partner Tchedu Pol are bounty hunters on a hunt. She heard Gev mentioning it at the spaceport & thought Gev is here to steal their bounty. She said Tchedu thought to only scare Gev off, and warned Zor & Pev that Gev will some day betray them. Gev says, "You pull a deadly weapon on someone, you takes your chances, lady."
A patrol lands nearby looking for the fugitives. Gev suggests using the sewer lines. Zor finds a grate that leads to the sewer. They all descend before the constables open the warehouse door.
With Gev on point with his helmet motion sensors on, the team heads for the clinic at Emerald Row...

S01E11 CHRONIC MALIGNANT OUTPATIENT RELAPSE
Location: Kitel Phard (Atrisia)
Atrisian native Zor Draco, Gev Dyson of Eskaria and technician Pev Tekko along with bounty hunters Nosoli Jarahm and her injured partner Tchedu Pol avoid the Jar'Kai Constabulary, head for the Free Hospital at Emerald Row.
Although Zor has been back for years, he still had enough streetwise in him to reach Emerald Row via the sewer network. At the hospital, a green TC droid at the front desk meets them. She admits them when Zor mentions his old friend Kara Verdans, who is now a physician there.
Suddenly trio of Constabulary Officers burst in from the street with an old injured prisoner strapped to a repulsor gurney. They head for the front desk.
The team try not to lose their cool and head to the lift vestibule. Officer Tizosar and the prisoner head their way while the others wait in the lobby. The Rangers hope a lift cab arrives quickly but no, the officer reaches them first.
They all head up together. Suddenly Constabulary Dispatch describes a group of fugitives over Tizosar's wrist comlink, which are obviously them. Gev panics and almost shoots the cop, but Zor gestures at him to quit it. It all happens behind Tizosar, so he doesn't notice the sudden move.
Zor bonds with Officer Tizosar by talking about old times on Atrisia. The officer informs him that his prisoner was a street swindler who was beaten up over a sabacc scheme.
They reach Dr Verdans' sickbay at Room 12 Level 3. Kara immediately tends to Pol and gets mad at Zor for leaving her to join the Imperial Navy many years ago. Gev tells Zor to call her "his sweet cabbage". But Zor ultimately persuades her to help them reach his cousin Tarn Draco, so they could accomplish their mission.
Meanwhile in Room 14, the old prisoner easily slips out of his bonds almost magically, kicking the cop's DL-18 blaster away. The blaster clunks the head of the attending 2-1B medical droid there. The man also grabs something from the officer's evidence pouch: something shiny and cylindrical.
Fleeing into the hallway, he bumps into Gev. He keeps running down the hall when Officer Tizosar pops out with his DL-18 about to shoot the old man in the back. Gev's riot gun stuns the cop to sleep, but after he calls for backup.
Gev suggests that the old man join them in their escape. The old man, Olem, joins them as Kara takes them up a private lift shaft to a speeder parking bay, leaving Jarahm and Pol in the sickbay to be tended by the FX droid on duty.
Soon Kara is driving Zor, Gev,, Pev and Olem in her Arrow 23 towards Tarn Draco's office.

S01E12 OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY & HAZARD MATTERS
Location: Kitel Phard (Atrisia)
The sun is setting over Jar'Kai when Dr Kara Verdans' Arrow-12 speeder pulled out of personal parking bay of the Free Clinic at Emerald Row. Kara drives Zor Draco, Gev Dyson, Pev Tekko & their new cohort Olem towards Tarn Draco Programmables Ltd elsewhere in the city. As Zor and Kara reconcile their feelings, Gev plays Igyah Kah on the speeder stereo & sings along badly.
Tarn Draco's office building is a 6-story structure with a Koensayr Breon HDY-39 Dayvan landed on the roof pad. Kara enters the level 5 parking bay where they the team alights. Zor persuades Kara to leave for her own safety, promising they would meet again some day. She kisses him then departs into the darkening sky.
Ignoring the elevator door, Pev slices into the keycard panel allowing them to descend the building via a fire stairwell. A young security officer stumbles across them as they pass level 3. But Zor is able to bamboozle the kid into thinking they were on a surprise check from the Jar'Kai Occupational Hazard, Perils, Threats & Safety Inspection Bureau. Not only does he let them pass, but Zor gets him to clear the stairwell of anyone until further orders.
They find the software engineering lab on level 2, through heavy blast doors. Technician Tchoji lets them in when they ring the bell. She tells them Tarn is in the supervisor's office. They wait for a bit, while Olem appear to use the Force to sense into the room but he fails to perceive anything.
Then Jar'Kai Constabulary Chief Vitruan, a one-eyed Twi'lek, step out along with two other armed officers. When told they are "private investigators", Chief Vitruan insists Zor display his investigator license. The Twi'lek seem to prefer the order brought about by the Empire. Luckily Tarn corroborates the story and insists that the cops leave the premises. Vitruan stands down and departs with his men.
Tarn expresses condolences about Zor's parents, then agree to help them for freedom's sake. He agrees to decrypt the datacard from the late Mrs Stassis McPing. Tarn tells them the card was manufactured here, but from before the end of the war. What they find shakes them:
First of all, the so-called New Republic Ranger operation in on Karkbreath Peak on Vandor is a lie. It is a ruse to recruit capable operatives to steal ex-Imperial materiel to be given to an unknown faction. Agent Tailgunner is really Major Beru Treedancer formerly of the Imperial Security Bureau.
Secondly, Stassie McPing's son Sandsmurch was killed by K-3LP, Treedancer's K-series droid that helped them on their first mission.
Finally, Zor knows the logo of the secret faction Tailgunner is working for: The Pentastar Alignment of Powers, a secretive, isolationist Imperial loyalist holdout!
The team, even Olem, agrees to return to Vandor and take down Major Treedancer and her Pentastar Alignment cell. But then, a security alarm goes off. The holoscreen shows Chief Vitruan returning with a squad of eight armed Constabulary Officers. It is a raid.
Tarn gives them a keycard to the Breon HDY-39 Dayvan on the roof. But can they get to the starship before Vitruan's men get to them?

S01E13 DAY TRIP IN THE DAY VAN
Location: Kitel Phard (Atrisia)
With Jar'Kai Constabulary Chief Vitruan's officers storming Tarn Draco's office building, the Rangers decide to make their exit to the roof landing pad where the company Koensayr Breon HDY-39 Dayvan is parked.
With Tarn's security key card, the team go back up the stairwell as entry would be locked down by the security personnel they conned earlier. As they rush up to the roof landing pad where Tarn's Breon Dayvan is parked they hear a stairwell door explode on the ground floor. Now, officers are climbing up after them.
But three other officers, led by Officer Tizosar - from the Free Clinic - are waiting for them by the Dayvan on the roof.
Supervisor-Captain Zor Draco, technician Pev Tekko and homeless old dude Olem dive for cover behind container crates, but bounty hunter Gev Dyson stands his ground and unleashes his riot gun. The barrage stuns one enemy.
The others combine fire on him, but Gev's second volley fells another and dazes Tizosar. Then from behind cover, Pev's stun bolt drops him. The skirmish takes twenty seconds to conclude! While they all jump into the Dayvan, Gev sets up a booby trap at the roof door with a grenade.
Zor activates the Dayvan's engines while Pev mans the rear cannon turret. An L1 general purpose droid – L1-2Y2, nicknamed Fred – welcomes them aboard the Elegant Format.
When Gev hops aboard, Zor takes off. The cops break through the roof door, but Gev’s booby trap does not go off. Gev laments the loss of his favourite grenade, a wasted effort.
As the Elegant Format ascends up to the troposphere, two Constabulary HH-87 Starhopper fighters of Allegro squadron chase after them in an intercept course, telling them to land and surrender.
With Pev's help in astrogation, Zor barely succeeds in making a jump to lightspeed, after setting a course for Coruscant.
En route, after Fred serves snacks and caf, they consider their options. Gev mulls over contacting the Bounty Hunter's Guild but decides against it. Too risky. Very untrustworthy.
Pev could contact his former CO Detective Lt. Col. Todvaa Vann of the Rangers' Infiltration & Secure Entry Unit. Fred reminisces the times when he had to toss hostile ex-ISB agents a long distance.
Zor thinks of contacting his former CO in the Starfighter Corps, Captain Carson Teva. But instead Zor decides to contact his former New Republic Ranger CO Tyria Sarkin – formerly of the Antarian Rangers and Wraith Squadron.
With Fred's help in encrypting communications, Zor uses his codename "Protocol" to make contact with Sarkin. At first she tells Zor that false Imperial comeback sightings are the norm. But with his diplomatic skills & evidence, he persuades her that the Imperial-aligned Pentastar Alignment junta has infiltrated the Rangers out in the Outer Rim Territory.
She provides them coordinates to the Generis Arcology on Coruscant for a meeting.
Location: CORUSCANT ORBIT
However upon dropping out of hyperspace, a flotilla of two frigates and a squadron of A-wing fighters is detected to be on an interception course. The Priam, one of the oncoming EF-76 Nebulon B Escort Frigates, orders them to stand down & prepare for boarding. Apparently the Elegant Format has been reported by the Constabulary on Kitel Phard to be stolen by starship thieves.
Zor says, "We forgot to turn off the transponder."
To which Olem replied, "Balls."

S01E14 BEARER OF BAD TIDINGS
Location: Coruscant
Aboard the Koensayr Breon HDY-39 Dayvan Elegant Format, Captain Zor Draco, Gev Dyson, Pev Tekko, Olem & Fred the droid faces off a flotilla of Escort Frigates headed by the Priam.
They persuade - with Zor's diplomatic skills - the Priam's Mon Calamari Commander Sebelek of their need to reach Colonel Tyria Sarkin to report critical information to her. After confirming via comms, Sebelek allows them to pass and the frigates return to their orbital patrol duty.
Soon, a Lambda-class shuttle Tourmaline approaches and hails them. Ranger Agent Liyar Gopor, a Klatooinian, greets them. He requests that they tell him the information, but they will only reveal the info to Colonel Sarkin. Gopor then tells them he will escort them to a classified Ranger HQ on the Coruscant surface.
Following them down, the Rangers believe something is wrong. Olem tries to reach out with the Force. But he is unable to sense anything out of the ordinary. But for certain they are being jammed. The Tourmaline takes them through one of the Industrial Districts as the sun begins to set. Then, the shuttle enters a hangar bay on the side of a rusty factory. Zor follows suit, but feels suspicious.
Fred provides them with a portable comms gear that needs to be modified. Pev quickly repairs the gear's circuitry, after which it is able to detect the jamming frequency. Then Zor - aided by Fred - uses the gear to break through the jamming.
Agent Gopor requests via comlink that they all exit the Dayvan. Gev is first to exit with his riot gun prepared, then Pev, followed by Zor after he orders Fred to try to contact Colonel Sarkin with the comms gear. Olem pulls out his DL-18 blaster and hangs back in the Dayvan. Gopor exits his shuttle. They spot a number of modified police droids with blasters surrounding the Elegant Format.
When Gev refuses to put down his riot gun, a firefight occurs. With quick reflexes, Gev pulverises two modified police droids to their right who are about to shoot them. Pev & Zor leap back onto the Dayvan, avoiding fire. Olem readies his blaster at the Dayvan's hatch.
Then, Fred announces that he has contacted Sarkin and she is en route with a squadron of Ranger gunships.
As Pev mans the gunnery station, he spots an armed droid approaching from the rear of the Dayvan. But Gev's second volley takes out two more droids, including that one and the one beside Gopor.
From the Dayvan side hatch, Olem fires his blaster but the stun bolt misses. But then Zor trusts the Force for his attack. He closes his eyes, gives in to the universe and the Force takes over. He pulls his trigger. [Despite three '1's on the dice] Zor's bolt strikes the Klatoonian! However, the agent somehow shrugs off the stun effect almost immediately.
Seeing his droids fall one-by-one, Gopor flees out of their line of sight.
Zor & Gev jump out again to find Gopor, but one last droid at the left side of the Dayvan throws a grenade... which hits the ship undercarriage, ricochets back to him and explodes. The undercarriage also provide cover from shrapnel for the Rangers. The droid still stands, but is missing an arm, part of his torso and a section of his head.
Gopor is gone.
Then, Sarkin's gunships arrive. She jumps out of the lead gunship and greets Zor by his codename "Protocol". She thanks them for ferreting out an unknown infiltrator in their midst. Because of Gopor's ambush attempt, Sarkin is able to determine his actual ID: aka master spy Haanen Felean, a known Imperial stooge.
As New Republic Security Force organise a manhunt for Felean, Sarkin orders the team back to the actual Ranger HQ for a debriefing. As night falls, the Rangers - aboard the Elegant Format - follow Sarkin's gunship back to the real Rangers HQ on Coruscant...

S01E15 SIDETRACKED BY A SKYWALKER
Location: Coruscant
Captain Zor Draco, Gev Dyson, Olem and the general purpose droid Fred are waiting to brief Colonel Tyria Sarkin at Ranger HQ in Generis Arcology located 25 km from the Senate building.
Sarkin enters the room. Before the door closes, they all catch a glimpse of Senator Leia Organa outside. But Zor and Gev spotted a hooded, black robed figure with a lightsaber at his belt lurking in the back.
Sarkin sits at the conference room table across from them and informs them that Technician Pev Tekko was summoned by his immediate superior Detective Lieutenant Colonel Todvaav'ann. He will rejoin them later.
Upon displaying a hologram of the Vandor base, she asks the team to brief her on Vandor. They unloaded everything from joining the team to the deaths of their intel assets the McPings to their teammate Ordan Vallas who left Coruscant with Mrs Stassie McPing's assassin for Vandor and has not been heard from since, and discovering the Pentastar Alignment's infiltration of the New Republic Rangers in the Outer Rim.
In fact, Zor's team has helped the enemy gather four X-wings and a Gozanti-class transport for Vandor. Zor feels bad about it and will gladly accept any reprimands. However, Sarkin knows Zor and dismisses his words.
After the briefing, she asks the team what they wanted to do. They all agreed on a covert infiltration. Zor requests stealth para-wing gliders. Sarkin agrees and offers more gear, but there is a more pressing matter.
The team has been request to undergo another mission - a minor task - before going off to Vandor. Sarkin gives Olem a datapad with information & assigns him to be a team leader for this mission. Zor is flustered. The datapad indicates they have to retrieve an item in a box at an "Area of Interest" somewhere on Coruscant. Maps and instructions are provided. There is a emblem at the bottom of the document on the datapad.
It is the emblem of the Jedi Order.
After briefing, they are dismissed. So they visit the Rangers' Quartermaster EV-44L4s's office - 2 levels below - where everyone gets EMP grenades and their weapons are fully serviced and recharged. Gev procures a vibrodagger & Olem is given a new outfit. He gives his hobo clothes to Fred who returns to the Elegant Format to await their return.
As they head towards their first waypoint, a docking pier in the underworld beneath the arcology, Olem informs Zor & Gev he used to be a Padawan in the Jedi Order. His abilities are not well developed because of 25 years of disuse. The two told him they had spotted what might have been Luke Skywalker outside the conference room earlier.
At the pier, three Razalon FC-20 speeder bikes painted with Jedi Order emblems await their arrival. Olem takes the point and they mount up and ride towards the second waypoint: the Area of Interest whatever that is...

S01E16 A RED EVENING, A SILVER DAWN
Location: Coruscant
All freshly geared up, Captain Zor Draco, Gev Dyson, Olem ride their New Republic Ranger-issued Razalon FC-20 speeder bikes (with Jedi Order emblems on them) towards the designated Area of Interest to grab one Artifact 49 as stated in their mission brief datapad.
En route, they are followed by an A-A4B truckspeeder but they lose it fast with Zor's pilot skills. Soon they arrive at their waypoint, which Olem recalls as a sub-basement entry structure that leads to the Jedi Temple. In the parking bay, they see a derelict A6 Juggernaut and a DC0052 speeder.
Unable to activate lift 7, Zor hotwires the lift controls using the DC0052 speeder power convertors. Also in the lift is a fallen, depowered Imperial KX security droid. They try their best not to disturb it.
The lift whooshes towards their destination, a room at a corridor behind a door marked "ONDERON 202." The lift shudders upon arrival, pushing Zor & Gev into Olem. The KX droid activates! Thankfully the lift door closes & whisks the droid away before it could pick itself up and attack them.
Though Olem feels the dread of the Dark Side everywhere, they open the door. Inside is a trove of ancient artifacts. They see a basilisk war droid. A Sienar Star Courier with a missing starboard wing. But then they are attacked by a Sith War Droid hiding in the shadows!
Its initial cannon barrage injures Olem with shrapnel, but before it could attack others, Gev lets loose with his Riot Gun, badly damaging it. Then Zor's EMP grenade explodes with a miasma of electrical arcs. It falls, cracks open & a human brain spills out. Weird. Also, ew.
They find Artifact 49 in a wooden box & return to the FC-20 bikes. No sign of the KX droid.
They ride back to the Rangers HQ at Generis Arcology. Olem peeks in the box and sees a crystal that overwhelms him with the Force. Colonel Sarkin congratulates them at her office where Tarn Draco awaits them. Tarn had to flee Kitel Phard before he was arrested for allowing the Ranger team to escape. Zor hugs his cousin.
Also they learn Gev has a new bounty on him (the A-A4B attack) for the murder of the Benelex Hunting Guild chairperson.
Olem is expecting to meet Master Luke Skywalker. But instead he is met by the droid Professor Huyang, who uses the silver crystal in the Artifact 49 box to repair Olem's lightsaber. He mentions that the artifact was in the ancient Sith Temple deep under the former Jedi Temple.
Zor: "The what Temple?"
When Huyang ignites the silver blade, everyone realises Olem is a Jedi. He gives the refurbished lightsaber to Olem, saying Master Skywalker foresees great things in store for him ahead.

S01E17 RANGERS REFRESHED
Location: Coruscant
After two days of rest, Captain Zor Draco, Gev Dyson, Olem (now revealed to be the former Padawan Olemric Cognus) are summoned by Colonel Tyria Sarkin to the HQ's conference room on Level 3 of the Generis Arcology.
Sarkin introduces them to a new recruit, an Iotran New Republic Security Force officer named Kirino Mak. She has been assigned to the team as a law enforcement agent.
The briefing begins. Sarkin recounts the team's experiences. They had been working for Agent Tailgunner at the Rangers branch at Karkbreath Peak on Vandor. The team was collecting (stealing?) materiel for Tailgunner. A Gozanti-class cruiser here. A flight of X-wings there.
Then their informant, old Mrs Stassie McPing, was assassinated by Tora Nuam for passing on an encrypted datacard with a warning about who they were working for. Nuam is their teammate Ordan Vallas' former flame. When they finally decrypted the datacard, via Zor's cousin Tarn Draco on Kitel Phard, they discovered that Tailgunner is one Beru Treedancer, working for the isolationist Imperial enclave known as the Pentastar Alignment of Powers.
Meanwhile, Republic Intelligence have no news of their vanished teammates Ordan Vallas, Pac Vesme and Captain Kin Asa Goddard. This sounds grim for the team.
According to Sarkin, the Pentastar Alignment is led by Moff Ardus Kaine who replaced Moff Tarkin as Oversector Outer Moff after the Battle of Yavin. A year ago, he gathered Imperial and corporate loyalists to unite on Entralla to form the PA. Information about them has been sparse since.
Gev proposes a straight up attack, but Sarkin tells him they don't have the resources and the New Republic takes ponderously long to decide.
Zor's proposed move is to scout for intel on Vandor. He refers to the Republic Sienar Systems star courier they found in a buried Sith Temple (under the old Jedi Temple) during the previous mission to repower Olem's lightsaber with a kyber crystal. That ship could have a stygium-based cloaking shield they could use for effective intelligence gathering.
Sarkin tells them a 4-personnel tech team has been dispatched. One has been reportedly killed by a Sith War Droid. Another disappeared into a door in the Temple that itself disappeared. The remaining two are huddled together fearfully in the Star Courier cabin performing their analysis.
The Rangers' mission now is to go to the Sith Temple and protect the tech team long enough for them to assess the courier. But in the meantime, the team has been assigned a new ship down in the Hangar Bay in Level 10.
Before going there, Zor changes into his field uniform. They all meet the Quartermaster droid EV-44L4 for more gear. Kirino asks for a bomb defusing kit. Eve-Four is reluctant to release it, but she persuades the droid effectively.
They reach the Hangar Bay where two ships await in launch position. One is Kirino's Y-Wing fighter Blue One being tended to by R2-BA, her astromech droid.
The other is a dark grey Omicron-class attack shuttle with turquoise stripes across her three S-foils. They name her the Spotchka Starstreak. Everyone boards their crafts and prepares for launch. Gev wonders if the new team member will cut it. Zor replies, this is a good mission to test her skills.
When the Nikto crew chief signals them, they both take off. The two ships fly to their dark destination in formation.

S01E18 WHAT IS A SPACE KUMQUAT?
Location: Coruscant
New Republic Ranger Captain Zor "Protocol" Draco, bounty hunter Gev Dyson, former Padawan Olemric Cognus, new member Kirino "Archive” Mak are reunited with Pev Tekko at the dimly-lit hangar bay in the Coruscant underworld that leads to the Sith shrine in the depths below the old Jedi Temple - recently the Imperial Palace.
Zor, Gev and Olem disembark from their new ship the Omicron-class attack shuttle Spotchka Starstreak, while Kirino from her Y-Wing Blue One, telling her astromech R2-BA "Bea" to stay put and keep an eye out. Pev dismounts from his Kalista-Equitar Cutthroat swoop.
As before there is a derelict A6 Juggernaut and a DC0052 speeder in the tall hangar bay, but now a LAAT/le gunship with NRSF markings is parked near the smaller, open turbolift chamber at the far wall.
With her hand-held scanner, Kirino detects dozens of droids popping in and out of her scans. But she is unable to scan for life. Using night vision goggles, Gev and Pev confirm that no one else is present with them there in the hangar bay. Olem considers using the Force to detect anything, but he feels a thick wall of despair deep in the building.
Zor hops aboard the open passenger cabin of the LAAT/le, confirming that it belongs to the missing New Republic Security Force tech team that was sent to assess the Republic Sienar Systems Star Courier the Rangers found a couple of days ago. Also, there is an equipment crate aboard. Pev opens it and finds three liquid cable shooters, one droid repair kit and one Tenloss DFT-3 disruptor rifle with NRSF markings. Zor assigns the DFT-3 to Gev.
Also, Pev assigns himself the callsign “Fumbler” which Kirino uses thereon.
Suddenly their comlinks crackle: "... in the bli..." "... need help..." "...lost..." "...I think..." "...space kumquats..." "...droi-"
Zor asks, "Space kumquats?"
Gev takes point with his riot gun. Someone stumbles out of one of the turbolift doors wearing an NRSF coverall, extremely relieved to see the Rangers. Hands over his head, he identifies himself as technician Gar Nyteen.
There is a loud screech, the lift beside Nyteen explodes. Something yanks him back in. His screams disappear into the distance. The whole lift cab is a mess of twisted metal and debris. Though spooked, the team presses on using the instructions from the previous mission.
The lift they take suddenly loses power and halts. Pev is unable to restore power but finds a manual release lever. There is a metallic skritching sound from above. Pev opens the door manually. Zor orders everyone out onto the corridor outside. The skritching seems to descend down the back of the lift cab.
As Zor climbs onto the corridor, a panel pops open and a fist-sized spider-like droid jumps towards him. Gev vaporises it with his Model 500.
Pev is looking for a manual door control when the lift's back wall peels off and dozens of the little spider droids flood into the lift. Pev pulls the lever. Before the door closes, Kirino lobs an EMP grenade in. There is a thump followed by an electrical discharge on the lift door, then silence.
They proceed. Ahead, a door opens, a floating black cube appears. It spots them and hurries into the door across the corridor. They reach the door and find a descending spiral staircase. There is a faraway sound of an inhuman roar.
Leading them down, Gev spots a hand two floors down across an open door. It is a Rodian tech, dead, his torso cut in half through his midsection. Lots of blood.
They notice a familiar looking blast door, but instead of ONDERON 202, it is marked OSSUS 407. Pev opens the door. There are dozens of unpowered black and red KX security droids standing in the dark storage room. Pev sheepishly closes the door.
Moving on, they find ONDERON 202 - the artefact room - not far down the corridor. Suddenly the ceiling above collapses and a huge Baktoid SD-K4 assassin droid - the little spider droids' mother - drops down between them and the blast door.
Gev rushes in, but from only the first of his triple volley hurts the SD-K4, whose forelimbs slash at Gev, mortally wounding him. The others open up to no avail - what was this thing made of? Kirino's shot dazes it. It tries to slash at the Iotran, but she deftly evades and rushes to Gev's side with medpacs. A second round of fire ensues and Pev's shot takes it down.
Two medpacs later, Gev is miraculously back on his feet. Pev blasts the droid some more to ensure it stays down.
Olem then hits the blast door button. It opens up. All the artefacts are still there, sculptures, ancient droids, but no sign of the NRSF technicians. The old Star Courier calls to them.
As they approach it, they see a familiar floating black box ascend from the top of the Courier and disappear into a portal in the rafters.
Gev says, "I told you this place is haunted."

S01E19 THE ENORMOUS LEGACY OF THE SITH
Location: Coruscant
Captain Zor "Protocol" Draco, Gev Dyson, Olemric Cognus, Kirino "Archive” Mak and Pev Tekko advance into the room filled with Sith sculptures, artefacts, inert droids and the Star Courier with the missing starboard engine & radiator panels.
Zor, Gev, Olem and Kirino sweep forward. The Iotran Kirino finds a shiny black door hidden in the far wall. Gev finds the remains of the war droid they killed the last time they were here. Olem is confused by the Dark Side emanating from the artefacts in the room.
Pev notices a Basilisk war droid by the main door, takes cover outside with weapons out. He hears clanking. Another SD-4K assassin droid shambles for him, scythe-like forearms swishing for Pev. He dives inside and closes the blast doors behind him. He hears the droid trying to get in, locks the door and disables the external controls.
Suddenly an elevator platform lowers the Star Courier into the floor. While Pev studies the Basilisk, the others use the ascension guns they found in the LAAT/le earier to climb down onto the descending ship. Gev grabs Zor, kisses his cheek for good luck, swings down, but drops the Captain instead. Zor is thankfully only winded. Kirino & Olem both drop into a heroic pose, though Olem wobbles and falls on his butt.
Pev climbs onto the Basilisk's saddle. A wall panel falls and the SD-4K climbs into the artefact room. Via comms, he informs the team standing on the descending Star Courier's top hull. They stand poised for battle, weapons ready, pointed at the elevator floor opening above them.
The SD-4K shambles past Pev. He activates the Basilisk droid, then uses its pulse-wave cannon to pulverise the droid. In the shaft, the others dodge the sparking droid debris falling toward them.
Pev then rides the Basilisk to the edge of the elevator shaft and jumps down, repulsors activated. But he slips and crushes the radiator panels in the port wing. He and his droid mount are undamaged though.
Olem senses 3 individuals in the ship. Pev also uses his hand sensor to confirm this. Zor finds a hatch, opens it and Gev jumps in first with his riot gun ready. He sees the two survivors cowering in fear, mentally traumatised by their experience here. Kirino jumps into the flight deck with medpacs, followed by Zor. The survivors report that the Rodian lieutenant Quando and Specialist Gar Nyteen are missing.
As the elevator reaches its bottom, a darkened launch bay looms ahead of them. Though Olem does not see it, Pev on the Basilisk spots one of the black floating cube coming down from above. He warns the others as it also enters the ship's top hatch.
In the flight deck, everyone drew their weapon on the cube which floats to the central command table and docks with it. They all unload their weapons on it. They spot a Biscuit Baron logo among the box's debris. Was this a food delivery?
Olem feels a strong wave of the Dark Side of the Force from the command table. Gev yells, "I told you this place was haunted!"
With hisses of pressurised vapor, the command table opens up to reveal its lone occupant. A deep mechanical voice booms, "I am Darth Terrogator!" There is a shower of sparks, after which the voice becomes high-pitched and infantile.
They see a tiny, elderly Anzellan strapped into some sort capsule. From the capsule, the Anzellan is able to monitor and control the temple's interior defenses.
The diminutive alien reveals that he is Scoopie Jimpson who has been waiting --for 35 years in the command capsule in the Star Courier -- for Darth Sidious to make him a Sith Lord. Sidious -- for reasons known and obvious to the team -- failed to return.
Jimpson is tired of the promises, the lies and the steady diet of Biscuit Baron. So he surrenders to the Rangers. When removed from the capsule, Olem's sense of the Dark Side disappears as if the machine here amplified the alien's hate and anger.
Comms with Ranger HQ is reestablished. They transmit a preliminary report and and before long a Ranger team, along with Colonel Tyria Sarkin, arrives to tend to the survivors, recover the Star Courier and take the dejected Jimpson into custody.
Now they have a stygium-based cloaking field which they can use for their return to Vandor to thwart the Pentastar Alignment. Zor says, ""Rangers lead the way."

S01E20 WELCOME TO MARAMERE
Location: Coruscant, Maramere
Captain Zor "Protocol" Draco, Gev Dyson and Kirino "Archive” Mak meet up with Ranger Director, Colonel Tyria Sarkin to plan their next move against the fake Ranger outpost on Vandor.
Meanwhile, Pev Tekko is ordered to oversee the transfer the cloaking tech from the Republic Sienar System Star Courier they found under the old Imperial Palace to their Omicron-class attack shuttle Spotchka Starstreak. They need 6 more stygium crystals to activate the cloaking field.
Also, Professor Huyang the droid arrives to request the team's minor Jedi Olemric Cognus' participation with the interrogation of their new Anzellan prisoner Scoopie Jimpson aka Darth Terrogate.
From experience, Zor knows that stygium can be found on Maramere, the old pirate base, now declining vacation spot and mining planet. It is located in the Karthakk system in the Karthakk Sector. He is acquaintances with a local tour guide whose company is located the main street of Port Modie, a Twi'lek named Tashir'owan.
The mission is to obtain six stygium crystals 30 cm long & 7 cm radius. Zor is assigned an A-Wing fighter for the mission.
After the meeting, Kirino also gathers intel on Maramere from the Ranger archives.
Then, both Kirino and Gev meet EV-44L4 the quartermaster for mission gear. He gives them aquata breathers, SCUBA gear, harpoon guns, grenades, thermal detonators and one R-444 Sky Swooper Para-wing Glider.
Meanwhile, Zor contacts Tashir'owan who informs him that claim jumpers on Bagan Deem Island has found a fresh vein of stygium and are defending their island with lethal force, killing both hostile attackers and non-hostile visitors negotiators with long range weapons.
The three meet at the Ranger hangar bay where Kirino will fly Blue One, his BTL-S3 Y-wing with Gev as his gunner and R2-BA aka Bea in the astromech slot. Zor pilots the blue-liveried A-Wing which he designates as Arrow One. (This Arrow One was scheduled to be sent to Adelphi Base, but rejected by the Rangers there because it is not an X-Wing.)
After waving farewell to Pev working at the Starstreak nearby, they mount up. Both ship fly into the afternoon Coruscant rain when cleared by traffic control.
With Bea navigating, they voyage down the Corellian Run, drop out of hyperspace at the border of Arkanis & Savareen Sectors, then head for Karthakk Sector. Soon, they approach Maramere. As they drop into the atmosphere, four Saboath starfighters take off and approach on an intercept course. Zor hails them but there are no replies.
There is no target lock, until suddenly there is. The Sabaoths let loose a barrage of cannon fire. Blue One and Arrow One are able to evade their initial fusillade, but being an experienced former Imperial ace, Zor is able to also skilfully manoeuvre into attack position behind two of the Sabaoths.
The battle begins.

S01E21 ABDUCTION AT POINT MODIE
Location: Coruscant
Captain-Supervisor Zor "Protocol" Draco, bounty hunter Gev "Bounty" Dyson and NRSF officer Kirino "Archive” Mak take off for Maramere to obtain stygium crystals. The technician Pev Tekko is at the New Republic Ranger motor pool transferring the cloaking tech from the salvaged Star Courier to their Omicron-class attack shuttle Spotchka Starstreak.
In the meantime, the droid Professor Huyang leads the minor Jedi Olemric "Olem" Cognus to an abandoned building in the Senate District for visiting Outer Rim dignitaries before the Empire. In an empty ballroom, Scoopie Jimpson, the Anzellan Sith prisoner Olem helped to apprehend is bound as a prisoner on a raised cylinder, flanked by a pair of guards. A man named Kyle has just finished interrogating the so-called Darth Terrogator.
Now that it's Olem's turn he uses to Force to sense what Jimpson is thinking: he felt abandoned by Darth Sidious over 30 years ago and is willingly cooperating. When Olem asks about the ship, he senses that the stygium crystals mined on Maramere is explosive, like coaxium. They need to be "pacified" using the Force.
Olem urgently requests Kyle for a transport to Maramere.
Location: Maramere
Meanwhile, a dogfight is occurring in the skies of Maramere: Four hostile Sabaoth fighters against Zor in his Arrow One A-Wing and Kirino & Gev in the Blue One Y-wing. After the Sabaoths miss their opening volley, Kirino and Zor split up. The Sabaoths also split into wing pairs, each wing lead trying to lock on to the Republic fighters. While Kirino executes a flawless evasion roll, Gev's ion cannons takes out the lead Sabaoth. Zor also weaves to evade then jinks, turns his opposing wing lead into a ball of fire.
The two remaining Sabaoths try to manoeuvre behind their targets, but Gev - despite the physical difficulties, swings the turret to neutralise the one dogging Zor. The ion bolt strikes the Sabaoth's wing tip, distracts him. Zor brakes, spins, fires - taking out the distracted fighter behind him, drops 200 meters in altitude, ignites his engines, accelerates, arcs to starboard, then rolls & fires again.
His volley rips the engines from the Sabaoth behind Blue One. The fighter falls into a cloud and disappears.
They land at the seaside city of Point Modie. While R2-BA a.k.a Bea tends to both fighters, the team rush to find Zor's contact. But they discover his Twi'lek friend Tashar'owan was just attacked by the claim jumpers from Bagan Deem island. Someone had told the pirates that Tash called the New Republic and has now abducted him as punishment. Tash's tour company premises was blown up by the pirates not 20 minutes earlier and is now in flames.
As Zor makes friends with a food vendor, a Gotal named Bersayval, to find out more, Kirino is helping a fallen Mere woman with lacerations & burns on the street. Gev who is on overwatch from the rooftops spots a Mere man approaching Kirino with an active vibroblade, about to stab him. The ex-hunter takes him out easily with one shot from his 500 Espo riot gun.
The crowd flees in panic from the shooting while Zor moves in to protect Kirino. Three police droids arrive and defer to the Spotchkas. They detain the incapacitated Mere would-be assassin while Bersayval and some neighbourhood buddies help to feed the team as they plan their next move.
Suddenly, an X-wing with blue markings lands. It is Olem, who tells them what he learned by reading Jimpson telepathically. When asked, Olem does not know how to pacify the stygium crystals there. As he joins the team, he orders his astromech R2-Q01 to pilot the X-wing to Landing Field S26 with the other Spotchka Squad fighters.
Five blocks away, at a pier by the huge open ocean, is another of Zor's old contacts, a Gamorrean named Blorrt who owns a vehicle rental company. An unfortunate high five with his old friend lands Zor on his back on the ground with Blorrt profusely apologising.
After some time considering the Hydrospeare aquaspeeder or the Mon Cala Barnacle-type submersible, they decide on four Urukaab "Thermocline-20" seaswoops! They gear up and prepare for a stealth attack on Bagan Deem island - 50 kilometers away to the east - to rescue Tash.

S01E22 BATTLE AT CORAL BEACH
Location: Coruscant
Technician Pev Tekko and some astromech droids (with one one power droid) are working in an empty New Republic Ranger hangar bay at Generis Arcology. They are tasked with transferring cloaking tech hardware from the Sith Courier they found under the old Jedi Temple to the Omicron-class attack shuttle Spotchka Starstreak.
Astromech R3-EP7 alerts Pev to flashing red lights from the cloak projector modules on the port side of the ship. Pev is puzzled. No stygium, no cloaking field, but no harm in activating them for a test. The test triggers a detonite-based destruct system in the modules. Pev rush against time to quickly shut off power and disable the modules safely.
Colonel Tyria Sarkin arrives for a report. When briefed, she tells Pev that once the detonite are removed, get to Maramere to help Spotchka Squad.
"Apparently there's been explosions."
Location: Maramere
Meanwhile Spotchka Squad is on an aquatic mission, travelling from the capital of Maramere, Point Modie, to the pirate infested Bagan Deem Island to rescue Captain-Supervisor Zor "Protocol" Draco's old friend the Twi'lek tour guide Tashar'owan.
Zor, bounty hunter Gev "Bounty" Dyson, NRSF officer Kirino "Archive” Mak and Minor Jedi Olemric "Olem" Cognus are provided an Urukaab "Thermocline-20" seaswoop each by the vehicle rental proprietor, the Gamorrean Blorrt. Blorrt also happens to be Zor's old friend on Maramere.
Zor orders the team to ride their swoops at 5-metre depth, surface 500 metres from shore and hold position. According to Tash, the pirates/claim jumpers shot down a shuttle with negotiators aboard some days earlier, so the should go low.
The ride takes a couple of hours. The late evening cloudscape over the choppy ocean is turning red with streaks of orange and yellow. But after some hours en route the sea turns a dark shade of red. Zor is able to guide them through clusters of razor-sharp coral growths as they ride the sea swoops towards Bagan Deem island.
Stars are out when they surface. Gev scouts ahead to Coral Beach. There are two guards hidden in the treeline -- a human and a Geranite. He skilfully sneaks past the duo, and disappears into the jungle. Gev reports back to the team who are bobbing among the waves offshore. After some time, he finds a clearing filled with huge crystal shards growing out of the ground.
Then some time later, he discovers a rocket launcher in a clearing with a cable from its base trailing into the jungle. There are two rockets mounted on the racks, while the remaining two racks are empty.
Back out in the sea, Olem is trying to reach out with the Force to sense anything, but fails. He nearly sprains a midichlorian or something.
Pressing further inland, Gev finds the motherlode, after a fashion: more personnel, guards, miners, carts of crystals, and droids all puttering around, working near an entrance to a stygium mining cave. He thinks that there are too many people, so he retreats back to the rocket launcher.
Meanwhile, Zor -- while submerged momentarily -- sees that a huge fish-like sea creature has sneaked up to them. A big, toothy maw is about to chomp on the them!
Everyone scatters. Olem fails to evade, swims out of the way as the relix bites his sea swoop in two. Zor swoops in to rescue Olem just before the relix gobbles him up whole. Kirino takes a shot injuring the creature as it surfaced, but the beach guards are alerted. The relix -- now injured -- turns tail and disappears into the dark waters.
They all accelerate their sea swoops toward the beach to attack the guards.
Meanwhile, Gev feels like he has no idea how to work a rocket launcher. Should he disconnect the control cable? Should he return to the beach?
Back at the beach, Kirino's fire injures a Human guard. Olem misses but Zor flings the injured guard with his swoop's sonic blaster. The Geranite guard's return fire misses Kirino. Then the two swoops roar onto the sand.
Then -- just like that -- he launches a rocket. A rocket trail spikes upwards then turns east toward the mine. Luckily, Gev is not blown off his feet by the rocket wash.
Ten newcomers arrive -- more pirate guards with blasters. The guard leader, a burly human, orders the three Rangers to stand down -- or die.
Suddenly, there is a huge explosion from the mine as the manually-launched rocket strikes, catching everyone by surprise. The fire illuminated the dark skies above.
Meanwhile, Gev is sneaking back to the beach unseen. He considers shooting at the lead guard.
That is when cannon fire from the night sky lights up the beach. Explosions and debris launch injured pirates into the air and the foliage. The Spotchka Starstreak, piloted by Pev and Arthree, appears and lands on the sand. The cloaking field has been installed, but is useless without stygium. The entire team, including Gev, rushes up the entry steps and are all reunited aboard the shuttle.
Zor thinks that it's time to free Tashar'owan and acquire some stygium. Under Zor's orders, Pev raises ship and takes off...

S01E23 RIDING THE STORM OUT
Location: Maramere
After the assault at Coral Beach on Bagan Deem Island, Spotchka Squad reunites aboard the newly-arrived Omicron-class attack shuttle Spotchka Starstreak. Piloting the shuttle, Ranger Technician Pev Tekko flies them five kilometres away from shore and holds station there. Captain Zor Draco, bounty hunter Gev Dyson, NRSF investigator Kirino Mak, Jedi Olemric "Olem" Cognus and Pev plan their next move against the claim jumping pirates on the island, acquire stygium crystals from their mine & save Zor’s old friend, the abducted Twi'lek tour guide Tashar'owan from Point Modie.
Night falls over the ocean and they see a storm front blows in from the south. Dark clouds and purple lightning approaches from the horizon. Zor believes there's an Omni Directional Sensor Globe (ODSG) high upon the hilltop above the stygium mine.
Step 1: Put Gev on the ground to do as a commando to reach the mine on foot.
Step 2: Kill the ODSG from the air.
Step 3: Harass the pirates from the air with the Starstreak so Gev can accomplish his objective.
The thunderstorm sweeps into them. Rain batters the ship as Zor takes over the pilot seat with Pev on forward guns. Kirino takes the aft guns. Gev preps for deployment with Olem standing by at the hatch.
Upon the Starstreak’s beach approach, a rocket is fired at them from the treeline. It is a personnel rocket, probably shoulder mounted. Zor evades, but the rocket turns back towards them. Kirino attempts to blast it, but her barrage misses. The rocket explodes at the port wing aft, but with superficial damage only thankfully. (Kirino also spots the relix leaping out of the water with glee in the storm.)
Fast approaching the beach, Pev's cannon fire rakes the sand and trees, scattering the pirate troops hidden there into retreating. Zor brakes over the beach, allowing Gev to rappel onto the sand as he is pelleted by rain. Like a shadow, he sneaks and disappears into the jungle, heading toward the mine.
The Starstreak then soars upwards, and attacks the ODSG. Pev damages the globe substantially, cutting off targeting data to another rocket coming at them. The rocket misses, and Kirino's aft cannons takes it out of the sky in a blaze of fire. Zor harasses the pirates from the air, throwing them into chaos.
Everyone spots a Cargohopper-102 with technicians arrive at the damaged ODSG. Before they could repair the globe, Pev's cannonfire obliterates the entire hilltop (including the Cargohopper).
Olem reaches out with the Force to help Zor direct his air-to-ground harassment campaign and senses all the pirates in chaos, some anger and rage... but also innocent and distressed minds on the ground!
Gev – now near the mine – visually confirms the pirates have slaves, over a hundred of them, who are being used as a shield at the mine entrance. Suddenly Gev spots something: he discovers Tashar’owan near an exploded admin building, badly injured - incapacitated - by shrapnel and burns seemingly from Gev’s own rocket that he fired earlier before the beach battle!
Then, the comlink buzzes. The pirate leader Startay Nosk contacts them via comms. If they don't stand down in 3 minutes, she will kill half the slaves. Zor thinks it’s a bluff, but Nosk says, “We'll find out.”

S01E24 RESCUE AT BAGAN DEEM
Location: Maramere
Spotchka Squad aboard their Omicron-class attack shuttle Spotchka Starstreak take to the air! An evening thunderstorm wreaks havoc unto Bagan Deem island as their aerial assault throw the claim jumping pirates into absolute chaos.
Meanwhile, bounty hunter Gev Dyson who approached the mine solo on foot through the jungle, has discovered the mortally injured form of their abducted ally, the Twi'lek Tashar'owan. At the edge of the clearing at the foothill, he also spots the 100+ slaves at the mine entrance flanked by 6 guards. The pirate leader Startay Nosk's voice breaks through to their comlink and threatens to kill half of their slave miners, Gev immediate fires at two, but only wounding one guard. The other shrugs off his blaster bolt.
The E-Web repeaters open fire at the slaves, but Captain Zor Draco swoops down with the Starstreak, covering the innocents from the blaster fire with the ship's shields and hull. Investigator Kirino Mak at the rear cannon aims and lets loose on the E-Webs & their gunners. There is a double explosion that wiped out the repeating blasters.
More fire from the guards lance out towards Gev, but he dodges and takes out the guard on the other side of the compound. The slaves scream in distress at the fiery carnage.
Technician Pev Tekko in the co-pilot's seat, guided by Zor's fine piloting, takes out more guards with the Starstreak's forward cannons. More smoking craters erupt in the pirates' compound.
Olemric Cognus opens the cockpit side hatch, peers into the firefight carefully. He spots the first guard Gev had injured trying to run and hide under their ship. He is still trying to shoot at the slaves. So Olem shoots the pirate in the head from above. No lightsaber needed.
The remaining Nikto guards retreat into the mine while firing at Gev, who with his Model-500 repeating blaster, drops both guards from distance with an impressive barrage. No guard succeeds in killing any slaves. Against all odds!
Zor lands the Spotchka Starstreak in the middle of the compound.
Then, from the cockpit Pev notices a Rodian technician trying to make a break for an unattended Mobquet landspeeder. A barrage from the forward guns blows the speeder into a fireball. At the same time, Gev launches himself across the compound at the panicked Rodian, tackles and immobilises him with a Teräs Käsi move. The freed slaves are grateful for the team's efforts.
The comlink buzzes again. Nosk vows revenge against the Spotchkas as a BTL-B Y-wing takes off and escapes. Apparently, the Pentastar Alignment of Powers themselves has been paying these pirates for their services!
Zor calms the slaves down, collecting more information about the pirates. Kirino heals the wounded, and stabilises Tashar'owan with her medpacs. Olem contacts Point Modie authorities to help transport the freed slaves to safety. Pev takes care of the Starstreak while Gev drags the Rodian prisoner aboard for interrogation...
