The Surprise Valley Health Care District was formed to provide the best medical and hospital care possible within the limitations of size and staff. The services are directed toward the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of those we serve. We are pledged to promote wellness, as well as healing.
The mission of the Surprise Valley Health Care District is to provide safe, high quality care and professional excellence to all people regardless of race, color, creed, gender, religion, national origin, age, marital status, political affiliation, medical condition or physical or mental disability.
The Governing Board will select qualified and conscientious physicians for the medical staff and ensure that the hospital is adequately staffed with competent personnel.
The Surprise Valley Health Care District will conduct business on the basis of modern business practice. All efforts will be made toward cost containment while providing a high quality of care. We will expand our services and facility based on the needs of the community.
We will support training and educational programs which are beneficial to employees and to members of the community.
