B. Astrological Data (User-Provided)
To generate accurate Vedic astrology charts (Rasi Chart, Navamsa, Jamakkol, Tarot, Pancha Pakshi, etc.), we require specific details entered by you:
Birth Details: Name, Date of Birth (DOB), Time of Birth (TOB), and Place of Birth (City/Coordinates).
Note: This astrological data is used strictly for generating astrological calculations within the app.
C. Automatically Collected Device Data
Device Information: Basic diagnostic information (OS version, device model, app crash logs) to ensure smooth performance and bug fixes using tools such as Device Info Plus.
Local Storage: We use local device storage (SharedPreferences) to store your language preference, custom themes, and locally saved charts for faster access.
We use the collected data exclusively for providing and enhancing our services:
Astrological Calculations: To compute planetary positions, ephemeris data, birth charts, and predictive analyses accurately.
User Authentication: To securely log you in and sync your saved charts across sessions via secure Firebase infrastructure.
Report Generation & Sharing: To generate customized PDF reports (PDF & Printing services) which you can view or share through external applications at your discretion using our Share Plus integration.
App Optimization: To improve user interface, fix software glitches, and enhance system performance.
We DO NOT sell, rent, trade, or monetize your personal or astrological data to third parties.
We only share your information in the following limited scenarios:
Service Providers: With cloud infrastructure providers (e.g., Google Firebase and Google Cloud Platform) solely for authentication, cloud database hosting, and secure data storage.

User-Initiated Sharing: When you explicitly tap "Share" to send your horoscope PDF report via WhatsApp, Email, or other communication channels on your device.

Upon receiving your request, we will permanently delete your authentication record and stored charts from our Firebase database within 7 business days.
SVASTRO is intended for general audiences interested in astrology. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without parental consent. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without verification, we will promptly delete that information.
