I am a Senior AI Researcher/AI Engineer at LinkedIn, part of the Core AI organization. I conduct research focusing on generative AI, reinforcement learning, recommender systems, uncertainty quantification, and graph neural networks. Previously, I served as an Applied Scientist II at Amazon, where I was instrumental in building a new shopping experience from the ground up, developing machine learning models for recommendation and ranking, and generating actionable insights for sellers using causal inference techniques.
Prior to Amazon, I finished my PhD in the Department of Statistics at Stanford university advised by Prof. John Duchi. My dissertation was on Reliability and stability in statistical and machine learning problems. Prior to the doctoral program, I earned my Bachelor's and Master's degree in Statistics from the Indian Statistical Institute.
An avid sports enthusiast, I relish playing tennis, cricket, table tennis, biking, and hiking. I am passionate about traveling and embracing new experiences, cultures, and perspectives along the way.
